The lady in charge was absolutely adorable and very kind and helpful!

Very good location. Axamer Lizum ski resort is 15 min away, a free bus stops is 5 min away from the hotel and runs every 30 min to the ski resort. Also, it is only 40 min on the bus from the Innsbruck airport. Everything was excellent, thank you very much. Every aspect was outstanding; my sincere gratitude.

Johanna is the sweetest host ever. She goes the extra mile for her guests and makes you feel at home. She contributed to making our stay in Innsbruck unforgettable and we hope to come back soon. Danke Johanna!

“Great value and amazing hospitality”

We came to visit friends in Innsbruck but chose to stay in Axams, as accommodation there was more affordable. Johanna is such a kind and caring host — we didn’t expect her to provide us with a bus pass and even change towels daily, just like in a high-end hotel. The room had everything we needed, and the little town itself is very quiet and peaceful.

Axam has a reliable bus service and approx 20 mins into Innsbruck town centre, this is made easier by the visitor travel card. The village of Axams is beautiful, with quaint Austrian houses and shops nearby. There are lots of hiking trails nearby too. The property is clean and well equipt, lovely breakfast and tea/coffee juice. There is an area where you can make your own drinks and lunches etc. The garden has a seating area overlooking the mountains. What makes this propery outstanding is the host Johanna, she was lovely and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, it was like visiting your favourite aunt! I would stay here again.

“A wonderful place and an incredible host !”

Everything was perfect ! The location is great, the landscapes are amazing, the buses easy to use (and free). Haus stratton is very comfortable, the bedroom was cosy and the common room with the kitchen facilities were a real plus for us. The breakfast is great too. But the best is the kindness of Johanna, who makes of her home a real heaven of peace. She is very considerate, thoughtful, and gave us very good advice. We had a wonderful stay !

“An amazing host, location and holiday.”

The best host, a lovely person who goes out of her way to ensure you have the great stay. I’m Vegan and she made me vegan breakfast options every morning. The rooms are so comfortable with great views, the location easy to get into Innsbruck by bus - alongside receiving a welcome card that meant buses were free. A wonderful experience, hope to come again.

Everything about our stay at Haus Stratton was just perfect. The place is located near the city of Innsbruck with a beautiful view of the mountains and there is also parking possibility right next to the house. Hiking trails are also very close and are easily accessible with a bus. The best part of our stay was definitely the owner Ms Gruber, who was extremely sweet and helpful with everything. She gave us a lot of useful tips, managed to cook breakfast everyday and arranged welcome cards for us with which we were able to have free bus rides and more. We would love to come back one day!

“Mountain relax with amazing host”

Very cute home with stunning views to the Nordkette from our room. Customized and friendly service by the amazing host (Johanna), who spoke perfect english. Incredibly clean. Just awesome stay overall, also taking into account the price.

Breakfast was very good and fillig, always on time and the lovely host was prepared for any request; more milk, bread, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. The location was sublime, bathroom with a view of the alps and a balcony overlooking an entire mountine range. The location was easily accessible by bus from innsbruck.

All was good, Johanna the host was very kind and gave us all the suggestions to get the best of Innsbruck. Breakfast was very good. The house Is 20 Min far from the centre but with the welcome card you can take the bus and the cable car for free.

“Perfect!!”

Owner is so wonderful. She is so kind. And the room is so clean. The scenery from the terrace in the room is incredible. And when we arrived , we were given a welcome card which allowed us to use neighboring transports , including buses and cablecars, lifts.

Johanna is an amazing host: she made sure everything was perfect and clean. The breakfast is lovely, the views are amazing, and the location is excellent. It's a wonderfully home-y guesthouse run with great care and love.
