Overview
Family-run for nearly 500 years, the Dollinger is set at the foot of the Nordkette Mountains in the northern part of Innsbruck. It offers limited free parking, surcharged parking situated nearby and a breakfast buffet. All rooms provide bathroom amenities, satellite flat-screen TVs and a safe, as well as free Wi-Fi access. The restaurant of the Dollinger serves Austrian and especially Tyrolean cuisine either indoors, or in the beautiful garden, shaded by old chestnut trees. The Dollinger will organize a free ski bus in winter and a hiking bus in summer. The Inn Valley Bicycle Trail goes past the hotel, as are numerous hiking tracks. The Innsbruck Old Town, the famous Golden Roof and the Court Church are 1.5 km from the Dollinger and can be easily reached either within a 20-minute walk or a few minutes by bus. The Hungerburgbahn, a funicular leading to the Alpine Zoo of Innsbruck, is nearby.

“Quiet and comfortable”

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Room was spacious and our child was sleeping in an actual bed. Beautiful bathroom. The bar and restaurant are also very cozy. And the staff was friendly and helpful. Public transport is just 2 min away and brings you straight in center town or to many attractions.

“It was one of the cheapest hotels we could find in Innsbruck, which was fine but had flaws.”
The staff is very friendly. During breakfast they worked hard to keep everything stocked. You’re just outside the city centre, but with the welcome card you receive if you stay 2 nights or longer public transport is free (Not that they check anyways).

“Very good hotel over looking the river, I would book there again.”
The room was large good size bed lots of hot water for the shower, reaturant was good lots of choice for food, a good bar. Reception was very helpful in getting me a taxi to go to the local hospital for emergency eye treatment.

“Dog friendly, great staff, best location”
I’ve been traveling a lot but this hotel will be my favorite. They were so nice to us, even our dog got a little treat. The room was clean and modern, the breakfast was exceptional and the restaurant was great with good prices. I really wish that every city on earth had a Dollinger where I could stay. Thank you.

We loved the location—easy walking distance to Top of Innsbruck Nordkette tours and the main train station. A peaceful park across the street was perfect for relaxing. Public transport was close by. Breakfast was generous and felt thoughtfully prepared by the family-run team. Dinner offered a wide menu with indoor and outdoor seating. We especially enjoyed the non-alcoholic white grape drink—so good we bought a bottle to take with us! Our triple room was spacious, clean, and cosy, with great mountain views from the top floor. Bathroom facilities were excellent, with strong water pressure and good ventilation. Plenty of storage and an in-room safe. The hosts—Claudia, Helena, and Claudia’s brother—were warm and welcoming. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend this hotel
