“Fresh fish drying in unused room..dont be fooled.”

unfortunately this can no longer be called a hotel. Our confirmation letter allured to a staffed reception until 10pm, free use the sauna and billards table. No receptionist, the phone was answered & we where advised to chose which ever room we liked as the key safe was not locked. Everything smelt appauling inside the hotel and there was rubbish and junk laying about. My 8 year old eventually found the source of the smell, fish being air dryed, hanging on string. The sauna had been pulled apart & there where no services to speak of. The garden and driveways unkept and overgrown. This place is cheap, so you could say you get what you pay for, 47€/night. But personally this hotel should not be allowed on a site like booking.com when you cant really say its a hotel & should not be sending misleading welcome messages or using photos of a well maintained property when its clearly not. My son thought it was an adventure going around this desserted hotel and sonething to remember for all the wrong reasons.

Messy. Roof leaking. Felt like an abandoned building. There might have been uninvited guests. Keys were free to take for anybody.

“Impersonal place”

There were a lot of space both in the hallway, elevator and room which made it possible for me to have my trike in my room as well. The toilett "in the room" I appreciated, too.

A helpful stop while heading to Helsinki.

My room was simple but spacious, clean and had private WC (not mentioned in description). Excellent price/quality ratio. Cyclist friendly.

Toilet was inside the room. Common kitchen area with fridges, coffe machine, water boiler etc.

You feel really at home. The faciliteis are extremelly well built and accurately furnished - see the photos below - and perfect to receive all kind of groups like schools, church or staff meeting… You can cook, rest, walk around as nature is pretty and calm….

Location convenient to highway. We however cycled there and the location is convenient to the Eurovelo 10 route but would advise cyclists to not take the highway and continue on the Eurovelo 10 from Degerby to Ingala even though it is a longer route - it was the most scenic part of the Eurovelo 10 in this area. The room was spacious enough for two people and it was nice to have a private toilet and sink. Bed was comfortable and a pleasant outlook from the window. Bar/cafe is almost ready to open as of the end of July 2023.

It was quiet. The bed was good. Access was easy.
