The place was immaculate and smelled fresh including the bedding. It was easy to access and the owner responded quickly to messages. It is close to the airport (about 15 minutes, costed us €14) and there are taxis few metres away.

Very nice place. Big appartement with kitchen and private bathroom. Everything super clean. Big rooftop terrace. The landlady is also very nice and helpful. When it got cold because of the storm, she immediately gave us a heater.

“Great hotel in a great area”

I recently stayed at Hotel La Fonda in Gran Canaria and had a wonderful experience! The location is very convenient, just a short distance from the airport. The hotel itself is beautiful, both inside and out. There are amazing kebab places nearby and the local architecture is stunning. One of the highlights was the rooftop area, where you can see the entire city and even the airport in the distance. The atmosphere is very friendly, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. There are even loungers on the rooftop for sunbathing. Inside the hotel, there's a beautiful fountain and lovely plant decorations that add to the ambiance. Additionally, it's conveniently located near a shopping center, the beach, and there are bus and taxi stops nearby, making transportation very easy. The area is great for evening strolls. The hotel also offers underground parking for guests, which is a great convenience. Overall, Hotel La Fonda is a fantastic place with a great atmosphere, affordable rates, and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

P.S. The price of a small hotel room for three days was 195 €. That is, not 40 € per day, as the administrator (or hotel owner) wrote to me in response. This is not an apartment, but a small room on the 1st floor, without windows. Blankets, bedspreads and sheets were very shabby and with holes. I wrote this to the owner of the hotel/administrator, but she wrote back that this is not a 5-star hotel, so for this money (65 € per day) we are entitled to very shabby bed linen, no internet, and sometimes the internet worked on other days, but very poorly. A few days ago we lived in a hotel in the center of Madrid for 75 4 per day, it is right behind the Opera building, and everything in the hotel was of very good quality, a good bathroom, two large windows and two balconies. And excellent internet. Almost the same price, but everything was of good quality and an excellent location. And it was not a 5 star hotel, but a 3 star one, but the admin of the La Fonda hotel constantly writes to me that I need to pay 400€ per day to live in a 5 star hotel with good internet and then I will sleep on unripped bed linen.
