“A fabulous place to stay!”

Ranjan and Sriyani are wonderful hosts. Kind, caring and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were both very good, as was the freshly plucked coconut from Ranjan's tree. He can also provide transport as required, and gave me a lift to the station when I left. The room is very spacious with decent air-con (it has been very hot!). It's also very quiet as it's set back from the main road. The only occasional sounds are the birds in the trees. The beach is just a short walk away, and is beautiful to walk along, heading both north and south. It's a very convenient place to stay - I went on a river safari, visited Brief Gardens, and day tripped to Galle on the train. Probably the best value for money place I've stayed in during my 4 weeks in Sri Lanka.

“I very much enjoyed my stay at Villa Sunrise”

Villa Sunrise is about 5 minutes away from the beach and the main road through Induruwa making it a very peaceful stay whilst easy access to the beach. The room is large with plenty of good furniture and it has a beautiful garden outside where you eat and/or relax.

It was clean and spacious. They had a fridge and Tea Kettle, everything you need.

I had a wonderful stay with Ranjan and his wife. They are so accommodating. The value for money is unbeatable. There is AC and fan. The room is also equipped with a kettle. There is a seating area in front of the room and a washing line to hang up your wet bathing clothes. The breakfast is incredibly rich, with local delicacies and fresh fruit. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes. Ranjan can also organize a river safari or a visit to the local temple. I would come back anytime.

“Lovely family homestay”

Everything was excellent! It is only a short walk to the beach front, the rooms are clean and comfortable with excellent air con but most importantly the warm hospitality of Ranjan and Sriyani. Siriyani's cooking was an amazing introduction to Sri Lankan cuisine and Rajan even took time out of his day to drive us to Bentota and to our next stop. Sad we could only be there for 2 days but it was worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Everything....just everything! location was superb....just few meters from beach! host was super caring and homely. our family was regretting why did we book only for one day and not more! breakfast had many varieties of vegetarian items, and they were super delicious. overall it was the best stay in Sri Lanka....I can go every year there :)

I loved my stay at Ranjan and Sriyani's place! They are both very kind. The breakfast was very good. The place was quiet. The beach is close. Small shop that sells samosa very close. I hope I come again when I pass by.

Sriijani and Ranjan are the most lovely hosts you could imagine! Srijanis mackerell with fried rice was like a poem. 😊 Also to mention their neighbour Moira,originally from Sardinia and practicing Ayurveda professional. Enjoyed twice her massage and good advice for treatments of the body and soul. Just open your heart, forget western sorrows and let embrace you by these wonderful people. 🥰

“Exceptional, genuine hospitality! Outstanding value!”

How often does the cheapest hotel in an area also have the best reviews? Almost never—and that’s exactly what makes Villa Sunrise such a rare find. The owners are exceptional hosts and the true reason this place stands out. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world, including five-star luxury properties, and I have never experienced this level of genuine care and hospitality. The included breakfast was generous and delicious; I enjoyed it so much that I asked if they could prepare lunch as well, which they happily did at an extremely reasonable price. When it was time to head to Colombo, they even offered me a ride—again at a very fair price—and the conversation along the way was genuinely enjoyable. I wasn’t the only one impressed; every guest I spoke with felt the same way. The rooms were excellent, the service unforgettable, and the beautiful, virtually empty beach just a five-minute walk away was the perfect finishing touch. I already look forward to returning to Induruwa Beach and staying for at least a month next time—entirely because of this wonderful couple who truly care about their guests and treat them like family.

Everything was excellent! We had the best breakfast we've had in Sri Lanka. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. They even gave us a free ride to the bus station early in the morning. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

“Fulfilling days , felt right at home”

Had a really lovely , quiet 4 night stay here. The family are lovely , the lady is a great cook ,( we are vegetarian)massive breakfasts!) I'd hurt my wrist prior to arrival and they helped with that too, a bandage and assistance from their neighbour( thanks moyra) They are kind and honest people . Garden is nice for hanging out in too, with birds, chipmunks and a resident ginger mongoose ! .beach is just 5 min walk away ( go through at sea view restaurant) Nice comfy bed with Airton and a fan. “Would stay again!”

The room was basic but comfortable with AC and had everything we required. It was a short walk to the beach, which was actually really beautiful. Very quiet, very clean, soft sand, went for a few swims during our time there. We took the local bus from Galle and got the driver to drop us just out the front, and that was very convenient! The hosts were the kindest, the loveliest people we had the pleasure of meeting. Truly very kind and treated us like family. Delicious, plentiful breakfast (a plate full of delicious fruit not pictured) was included in our stay which we really appreciated. We only stayed for a night, but could have definitely stayed longer. Loved the town and loved the property!

Ideally located for quiet days near the beach. The room is spacious, clean, quiet and has hot water!! The hosts are really nice, they will give you tips for your travels to Colombo/Galle. They made dinner for us and the breakfast was delicious!

“A very good stay in a calm nice block just about 250 m from the beach”

It was a very nice guesthouse with a couple as the owner. They where so friendly and serviceminded and offered us the best stay with an amazing breakfirst including a very good fruitsalad.

The rooms are in a separate building with a private garden and porch, making it a super quiet place. Although the train tracks are somewhat close by, there is absolutely no noise from them. A few minutes of walking, and you’re on a beautiful and also really quiet beach. Super friendly hosts, clean facilities, and last but not least: a fabulous breakfast!

Amazing stay for our last day in Sri Lanka! The neighbourhood and garden are quiet and peaceful, but still walking distance from a beautiful beach, which is not busy. Comfy bed, hot shower, plentyful and very tasty breakfast. The hosts are so kind; they are really involved in making sure that you have a great stay. Always in for a chat and with good advice for the area. Thank you!
