“Good deal for Coachella - money/value”

We stayed for Coachella and it was a surprise because overall was a good worth of money. The location is perfect (we even walk from the festival, a 20 min. walk), the staff was nice, they always have coffee and facilities to eat. The parking lot is free. Regarding the room, the bed was big and comfortable.

First off there was a $35 usd fee for a pet, no mention when booking and no refunds once booked. By far the highest fee for a pet I've been charged. Neither the bathroom light nor the fan worked, television was new but not setup so we had no tv. Only one towel for 2 people. Frt door was very sticky and hard to open. We arrived late for a night's sleep, so it was too late to call and rectify all this. Then, "breakfast included" consisted of 8 slices of bread layed out with grape jelly, frosted flakes and granola bars.

I was racially discriminated against by an Arab at the front desk. After confirming that I was Asian, I was assigned to a room with a broken door lock that did not open. I complained about this, but they lied and said the room was sold out and eventually did not change my room. This hotel gave me the worst experience.

The Bed & Pillows were ok & glad they had a safe.

The breakfast was ok. However, we arrived during an extreme heat wave incl. sand storm and the a/c just did not manage to cool down the room over the night (it must have been approx 110 Fahrenheit outside at night).

The wonderful staff, the spacious room and the location! The hotel staff were the nicest we’ve met and especially accommodating going the extra mile to ensure we were hydrated in the extreme heat, even providing us a gallon bottle of water at no extra cost as we couldn’t make it to the supermarket in time. The breakfast options were vast and it was nice to be greeted by warm welcomes from management in the morning. The room was huge, the bed super comfortable and the desk space was just what I needed to get some work done. The bathroom was decent, very clean and the shower was very powerful. The location was perfect - we were visiting for the Coachella music festival and we were so close to where the Lyft cost was literally $13 to reach there! Without a doubt we will be coming back here next year and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting and looking for a hotel within a modest budget.

“Disappointing”

The floors obviously haven’t been cleaned in a long time. Me and my friends would walk a few steps around the room in fresh socks and would see a disgusting amount of dirt on our feet. Corners around the room and bathroom filthy. Hand sink water pressure extremely minimal making it difficult to use. The safe passcode not working. The freezer in the mini fridge was ridiculous - anything remotely around the outside of the freezer would freeze the items leaving only 20% of the space inside the fridge to be actually useful to cooling items (other 80% of space would freeze the items). Pool water disgusting even after telling us they deep cleaned it.

There was a problem with the heat. It was not working.
