“Very dirty, and overpriced despite reparations”
The room was big for two beds, and it had natural light. But that's everything that we could consider good. Staff was nice and helpful.

The pool was unbelievable dirty, absolutely no use possible. I can’t understand. Normally we should get the half of the rate back.

“Our stay at Royal Plaza Inn was a pretty comfortable and affordable experience with good service.”
Check-in was easy. The gentleman at the front counter gave great information about how to best get to my room. He was friendly as well (he asked if I was in-town for a special event). The facilities were clean and well-equipped. Though we were a little cold while walking about, the bed was comfortable and the blankets were warm enough to result in a good night’s sleep. Location was good. There were many local places to get all of our wants and desires met.

“The cheap and run down outside solution”
We needed a stop over between San Diego and Las Vegas and chose Palm Springs. Since all cheaper options already were gone in town we chose this nearby solution. We got what we paid for: a bit far out in a quite run down area, run down rooms, reception not available before 3 pm (to - at least - leave our luggage).

It was nice, well airconditioned and a perfect stop for a good rest in the heat. The employees were very friendly and nice.
