Friendly, helpful staff and a very cosy, clean environment. Perfect location for exploring both north and south, with many nice restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily book again.

Very cute vibe - exceptional communal area, very comfortable tables and couches, tea and drinks available, I always love being able to fill up my water bottle with filtered water. Really enjoyed the cosy place and location. Bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were lovely and heated up our food for us, as there was no kitchen facilities. Me and my partner booked the family room - a bit of privacy and extra space was great.

“Very great value for money”
I was so happy to find this accommodation for a good price even during the peak Obon holiday season. It is very stylishly renovated with wood and everything is well curated, especially the great room aroma that gives a nice atmosphere. Everywhere is very clean and the room is cozy. The staff is super friendly and helped me massively by allowing me to wash and dry my clothes after hiking in the rain. I also very much appreciated the water dispenser and selection of tea free of charge.

The receptionist of the hostel is very friendly, and the room is nice and cozy. The bathroom and the restroom are clean.

“Fabulous”
Best place we have stayed so far in Japan. Gorgeous friendly owner. Spotless. Excellent value for money. Reminds me of a chic new york loft. 5 star stay even with a share bathroom 🙌🏻

“clean, warm but loud”
It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable although you have to make the bed on your own. With the A/C on it warm and comfortable.
