“Beautiful authentic Lapland adventure”

The property was spacious for a family of 4. The children had a lot of space to play, especially in the snow outside. The owners left out three sleds, three pairs of snowshoes, and a pair of hiking poles which was amazing! We were able to go on wintery hikes and bring the sleds with us for impromptu sledding. We made a fire in the fireplace; however didn’t really need it as the home was so cosy and warm the whole time (there is very good heating). We also used the sauna. Although the owners left us reindeer food outside, we didn’t see any reindeers. However we did see a white rabbit. Clearly reindeers do come though as they leave a lot of droppings around the property! The driveway was clear and it was easy to drive right up to the property. We went in early April and it was a warm April, so roads were generally clear. Location is lovely! It’s very close to town, but not right in the middle of the town. I could go outside and see the Northern Lights without any light pollution, which I saw 2 out of our 3 nights (use relevant apps so that you know when to go outside!). The property has fire wood, fire starters and matches which was very helpful! The property’s kitchen also is well equipped. Lots of bowels, plates, cutlery. Really great not feeling like you’ll run out of crockery and cutlery for a family meal or two before you need to start the dishwasher. We had a wonderful time and would happily stay here again if we were to return.

“Winter wonderlamd holiday place in nature”

Everything! Beautiful house in the forest, just few steps from hiking trail and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We loved big sauna and living room with a fireplace. Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking.

A perfect winter getaway. From the Sauna to the fireplace and Aurora right at your doorstep. Katja and Marko will make it a wonderful stay. Everything is provided for in this quiet and peaceful house. You can enjoy snowball fights and northern lights. It is clean and everything is working as advertised.

“Wow”

A true lapland experience in a beautiful location close to Inari but in the forest. Sauna and fire 🔥 were amazing and living room very cozy. There were also reindeers to feed, a beautiful trail just close to the house and a lot of things to do. Marko was a very kind host. A special place ✨️!

“Nice little cottage in the middle of nature”

- The location is perfect, in the middle of nature but close enough to the center of Inari - The cottage is quite big and well equipped - The sauna - Reindeers coming at the door everyday 🥰 - The fireplace - A trail path passing by the cottage - Easy to walk to the city center (20 mn in the snow)

“Love at first sight - the best stay in Inari!”

It was love at first sight when we arrived at the house. It’s location, tranquility, decor, amenities- everything was top notch. Cherry on the cake was Marko and his family’s behaviour- they were so kind to offer us a ride to the bus stop when we left. We had too many luggage , so he made 2 rides . 😊 About the house itself, it is situated on a very quiet road with lots of forest area. It has everything as advertised on the advertisement. Make sure you go there with friends , you are bound to have a good time and make some wonderful memories. Also, since it is away from light pollution, it’s one of the best places to catch the northern lights when in Inari. We were there 5 nights and we were lucky to catch them on 4 nights . No matter how many aurora hunting trips we took, the best place to view them was at the chalet itself. If Inari is your place of choice , go book this accommodation before it gets blocked by someone else.

“Nicest place ever”

We liked all of it! The location is superb, the house is cosy, big, superconfortable and perfectly equipped (including reindeer’s food and wood for the chimney!) We loved specially the garden with reindeers visiting use every morning, the sauna and the nice atmosphere in the living room with the chimney and the Xmas tree!❤️🛷🎄🦌

“Relaxing time surrounded by wildlife”

Marko picked me up from Inari as I didn't know where the property was. Got a guided tour of the place. Excellent atmosphere, lovely wooden interior. Reindeer, hares and red squirrels all come to visit the Garden.

We stayed here for three times during this spring. House was equipped with literally everything, especially kitchen. Sauna is very convenient. Wildlife is right out there, reindeers and hares came to visit quite often. :) Location is great, Siida museum and Nature Center are 10 min walk away, Juutua river nature trail is also very near. Host is very friendly and helpful person, it was a pleasure to communicate. :)
