“Wonderfully relaxing”

Lovely rustic cabin (but with electricity, hot & cold running water and WiFi) including a built-in, wood-heated sauna next to a lake surrounded by pine forest - wonderful! The owner showed me round his "huskies farm" (kennels) while he fed the dogs, which was also interesting. The dogs were mostly quiet except before/during feeding and a couple of brief howling sessions, so were not disturbing to sleep.

It was amazing! The cabin was so cozy, the beds were super comfortable and the sauna was great. We loved feeding the huskys and everyone was super friendly and happy to help. At night the view from the frozen lake was perfect to watch the northern lights. We could even see the aurora from our beds through the windows! There were lots of reindeer roaming around. We would absolutely recommend this place! :)

“Wonderful”

Wonderful nice little cottage by its own in the woods by a little lake. Firewood, sauna, shower, nice clean linen included, private nice little outdoor-toilet right behind. What a nice suprise!

We got to see the Aurora!!! Host very friendly and helpful, cabin is modest but has everything you need. Very cozy and quiet. Great chance to do an Arctic lake dip after sauna - an ice hole had been pre-cut that was easy to access. Huskies were quiet overnight and beds were comfortable for sleeping.

Absolutely brilliant stay on a working husky farm. We were the only guests and were made to feel part of the family - feeding the dogs, watching them exercise, and we were even lucky enough to be with a mother husky as she birthed her pups. The cabin is very rustic but exceptionally situated.

Beautiful and clean nature around the cabin. Sauna is great because it's having a wood burning kiuas.

The cabin is simply authentic, without any symbol of modern life(except the wifi) and that's exactly the magic ! The souna with the fire wood was just perfect and the shower attached was the perfect combination. Emil,Dominic,Emanuel,polin and all the 53 members of the family(🐕)-you are amazing personalities thank you for everything ❤️

“A private hut by the pond”

Sauna and swimming in the lake were great. Owners are friendly and helpful. Beautiful place, privacy - own little area around the hut. Running water despite it being a hut. Internet worked well. Good heater inside, and beds were good too.

“Great natures all to yourself”

You'll have the natural beauty of the marsh all to yourself. The wood-burning stove and wood-burning sauna make for a comfortable stay. Hot water is available from the tap, which is convenient. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bio-toilet was clean.

“Surrounded by nature”

If you’re looking for a rustic getaway, this is your place. As the title says - it’s a cabin on a working husky farm in the middle of the forest and overlooking a lake. It’s pretty compact - two single beds and a small two ring stove on a tiny worktop plus a fridge - although this being Finland there’s also a sauna in a separate room. There’s also a shower and a sink. The loo is round the back in a separate building and is the compostable type. Was very clean. There’s a space for a campfire outside and you’re far enough away from the owner’s house to get that sense of being surrounded by nature. It’s not luxurious but that’s not why you choose a place like this. It’s also very cheap for the area

“Extremely nice and cozy cabin. Loved it”

It’s a beautiful place to relax! Clean and cozy. Wonderful and friendly host. The sauna is great! We will definitely come again. We recommend it for everyone who wants to reconnect with nature and restore the body. Special kudos to Husky farm. Beautiful 🐕

“Absolute serenity”

We arrived in the evening and immediately saw the Auroras above the lake. Pure magic. If you want to experience the serenity of the finnish wilderness, you will love every detail of this cabin. It was cosy, warm, beds were comfortable.

Super cute cabin with integrated private sauna and an inside fire stove with additional fire tipi outside. Directly looking at a lake and the forest in the middle of nowhere with amazing stars and some northern lights. The owners are super friendly and the huskies are adorable, we could also feed them with them. They had 6 weeks old puppies which were super cute!

“Exciting, I would do it again tomorrow”

For a holiday immersed in nature this is the perfect place, you have to adapt for certain things but for everything else it is worth it. The owners are wonderful people always ready to give you advice on travel. A great experience was also looking after the dogs helping the owners during the day. From our location we were able to do many things including seeing a beautiful northern lights. This is a trip that I would do again immediately, summer or winter I think that Cabin at the huskies farm is the perfect place to live a real Lappish experience.

Wonderful place on earth with warm people and everything you could hope for in a host.
