“Exceptional, warm and comfortable stay.”

I loved staying at Albergo Nella and would come back any time! It's a family-run hotel, operating on the ground floor and 1st floor of a residential block. My room was spacious and clean; so was the bathroom; everything was comfortable and worked. Yes it's a few years old and has a slightly dated appearance; but this is what I appreciated the most: terrazzo floors, solid sanitaryware, things from a time of quality rather than laminated floors and cheap bathroom fittings that you find in other hotels. I received a very warm and friendly welcome, and I also very much enjoyed the breakfast of cereal, yoghurt, cake, and coffee. The location is also unbeatable: about 1-minute walk from the quayside and seafront, and also next to the elevator to go to the old town on the hill.

The reception and check - in was very easy and the staff was polite, and they explained everything about the room. Overall, the room was what you would expect. The part of Imperia it is in is extremely nice (much better than the centre in my opinion).

The location was great. Unfortunately it was a little bit cold, so the heating needs to be on. Very helpful staff and easy to come and go. Close to the lift to take you to the old town.

Due to the extraordinary amount of traffic and traffic jams in and around Nice, we were significantly delayed. Called the hotel, which to our great surprise closed check-in at 19:00, and then rejected check-in after this time. So when we arrived there was no entry, even though we had paid in advance. Later, Albergo Nella also refused to refund money for an unused room. So a hotel without a customer focus, so find another place to stay!

“Great value for money and welcoming hosts”

Fantastic location, a step away from a lift to the old town// bus stop to Sanremo / Andora, very close to the beaches - both sandy and pebble. Breakfast is basic but satisfactory. The room is quite spacious and well cared for. The hosts are gracious, helpful and attentive.

Very welcoming owners. Close to great restaurants and beach.
