“Cosy home stay in the mountains”

The view from the lounge and balcony is exceptional. Beautiful to sit and watch the mountains while drinking mint tea. Had dinner which was delicious - recommend to stay.

Amazing building in traditional style with lots of quality details. Owner was helpful in organizing mule riding trip with our kids. Great day trip at only 130euros in closing lunch at Berber home for 5 people.

“Spectacular stay”

The entire place was gorgeous. The room and views were breathtaking. So comfortable and clean and beautiful. Our host was amazing as well as all the staff. The food was incredible! The soup and tagine was out of this world and the best we have had in Morroco. NThey also helped us organise a hike and that was an incredible time. We can't wait to come back!

Toubkal ecolodge is nicely located above Imlil so you have a nice view of the mountain. Food was excellent (though the same on both nights we were there), Ibrahim was incredibly helpful. They helped UI organise a very nice hike with a guide (make sure you specify what type of hike you want). Pool was a very nice unexpected feature (I didn't think I would use it but was I happy to swim after my 6hr hike despite the cold water!). Also rooms were really warm which is a very nice surprise too given how cold it gets at night outside. Overall we had a very nice stay!

Toubkal Ecolodge, what a welcoming and peaceful place. The staff is kind and they're filled with respect. And the location is good between the huge mountains of Atlas. The swimming pool is clean with the water of nature no chemicals . With the traditional food of Morocco. And i think it's worth a shot.

The service was excellent, and the hostel is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The swimming pool is very well maintained and absolutely lovely to relax by. The included breakfast was delicious and varied, and the dinner we had there was also of very high quality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Toubkal Ecolodge was a GREAT choice. In addition to the great food and comfortable accommodation with spectacular views, Rachid's hotel had two unique selling points. Firstly, Rachid helped us arrange a six day hiking trek around the Berber villages and to summit Toubkal with a great team that included our guide Khalid and our cook and muleteer Oumar Rachid also helped us with onward travel plans and couldn't do enough to help us with our first trip to Morocco. Secondly, the swimming pool was very refreshing after a six day hike around the beautiful mountain scenery of Imlil Valley. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again at Rachid's Eco Lodge and plan to do so again in years to come.

“Ok, but needs maintenance”

On the positive side, the hotel has a nice view of the valley and the mountains. The food is also very good. The location is pleasant (quiet) but not easy to reach (you're better off if you have a car, otherwise it's a long steep walk up the hill from the town).

The Guesthouse is well located in addition to that Rachid & Ibrahim are great Hosts . 👍

“The most magical stay with the most incredible people”

There aren’t enough good words to describe this incredible place and people that welcome you. Rachid and his team truly made us feel like home. I had my Toubkal hike organised through him, we had dinners there every night too and from the minute we arrived until the very last moment this was a completely magical experience. My hike guide Khalid was the most caring guide I’ve ever met. The chef that cooked us dinner with his wife every night were simply extraordinary. In short, I would recommend this to everyone and anyone and if I’m ever to come back to Imlil I would only ever stay here. And I haven’t even mentioned the completely stunning views from the terrace yet… I’m never usually sad to leave a place to carry on to the next destination, but this time I truly was sad to leave.
