Dar Imlil is a beautiful place to stay. Both the building and the views are stunning. The staff are also incredibly welcoming and helpful. They organised an excellent guide who took us walking in the hills. Totally recommend staying here.

“A really lovely hotel, in a great location overlooking Imlil.”

Dar Imlil's position near the centre of Imlil is perfect. As it stands on a hill, there are excellent views all around. Our room had two balconies, giving sunshine and views at all times of the day. We really appreciated the underfloor heating as we went in early January, when temperatures at night were below freezing. There was plenty of hot water, and we had a kettle and a fridge in the room. The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. I loved the hammam, too. The food was particularly tasty, especially the tagines. My muleteer, Mohammed, was wonderful and helped me a great deal on our trip up to Tizi Tamatert, as I had injured my knee just before I came to Imlil.

“Cozy family stay”

The hotel is typical marockan with a rustic touch on it. We got a nice family room on the top floor with 2 balconies overlooking the pool and the mountains. The kids enjoyed the pool during the days (it was a bit cold but nice). It’s located a bit up on the hill but very central and close to all shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!

Photos don’t do it justice. The pool area is so pretty and they give you huge green towels. Chill out area above in the shade, room nice, especially bathroom. Good central location.

The hotel was fabulous rugs and cushions everywhere, beautiful views from terraces. Food was delicious and staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Sad to leave.

Dar Imlil was a great start to our break in Morocco. There as a delay in our driver collecting us from the airport the hotel manager sorted it for us and despite arriving much later than expected, the fire was roaring and a gorgeous hot meal was waiting. The staff were amazing and we couldn't have asked for a move enjoyable visit.

All waa excelent , beautiful property , a very welcoming and friendly staff , it has all and definetly will come back again and also recommend it to family and friends.

The location of the hotel was perfect as it was next to the river and had wonderful views of the mountains. The weather was mixed whilst we were there but the hotel set up meant we were able to be cosy by the wood burning stove in the evening and then get out on the terrace when the sun came out. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Some lovely stalls in the village to buy walnuts, almonds and figs.

Heaps of character and Moroccan-style luxury. It’s is a in central location in the village with superb Mountain view’s.The staff particularly Hussain were very friendly and welcoming. The evening meal was good value and tasty as was the breakfast.
