“Beautiful & quiet with helpful staff”

Beautiful & quiet setting up the hill, with very friendly staff. Offered to prepare very early breakfasts and even cooked some gluten free pasta I had brought with me to help prepare for a trail race I had entered. Tagine and crepes amazing too. The room had heating from the AC, extra blankets and reliable hot water in the shower. Great areas to sit outside to enjoy the fabulous breakfast and take in the wonderful views across the valley. My Orange travel SIM had no problem connecting, but staff offered me a personal router hub for WIFI if needed too.

Lovely staff. Very friendly and accommodating.It was quiet when we were there and so had the place to ourselves. Room was spacious and the balcony offerered great views of the mountains. Able to walk into village easily for dinner. Our host cooked for us too, which was very relaxing. Also made us a super early breakfast so we could eat before we set off on our journey back to Marrakech.

Butifule place and rosmary garden and welcoming hoast. We got help with and contacts for trekking possibilities. Good dinner and breakfast. A litle cold in march-april, as it is in Imlil, but we got extra duvets and it was nice.

Our stay at Tonaroz House was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea and felt instantly at home. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and caring, ensuring that we were comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. The location is perfect, offering peaceful surroundings and breathtaking scenery, making it an ideal base for hiking and exploring the Atlas Mountains. The atmosphere was calm and authentic, far removed from anything touristy, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the beauty of the region. The food was excellent—dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, while breakfast was fresh, hearty, and the perfect way to start the day. Every meal felt homemade with love. One of the true highlights for us was the resident cats, Gaga and Sofinia. They were so friendly and affectionate, making the stay even more special. Even though the evenings were chilly, we were provided with plenty of blankets, and it actually added to the charm of the experience. The entire place was spotlessly clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained—we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Between my partner and I, we’ve stayed in countless hotels and accommodations around the world, and we can honestly say that Tonaroz House is one of the best places we’ve ever experienced. If you’re looking for authentic Berber hospitality, stunning landscapes, and a peaceful retreat, this is the place. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would return in a heartbeat! 10/10 – an absolutely magical stay. 🏔️✨

I can't say enough good things about this place. The service was impeccable, the food was great , i had the best tajine in my life, everything was amazing, and the overall atmosphere was just perfect. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about their guests' comfort. We left feeling completely relaxed and happy. I'm recommending this hotel to everyone!

I had a wonderful stay at this auberge over the weekend! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The tajine they served was absolutely delicious—one of the best I’ve ever had. On top of that, the views were stunning, making it a truly peaceful and relaxing experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a charming getaway!

Imlil is an exceptional place for families,trekking individuals and Berber heritage . The district is one of the ultimate places to visit in my estimation . Will return very soon to see Mt Toubkal in winter.

“Perfect place”

A big, nice, clean room with a view over the valley, big garden and big terrace. Nice walks around, also to the village of Imlil, which is 15 minutes away . And the caretaker Abdou was really helping in everything I needed. He found a guide to Toubkal, he explained about Berber life, always in good mood. It was a perfect stay.

Absolutely loved my stay ! The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, and had a fantastic view. The overall experience was exceptional.

Room and breakfast

Mustapha was very nice host and he was willing to do as much as possible to make our stay comfortable - even to get up at 4:40 a.m. to prepare the breakfast for us (so that we can climb the mountains). Be aware of location of the house - it's definitely not in the center of Imlil, but within a walking distance (30 min) and thanks to that there is no problem with parking.

The food was delicious. Good quality for the price. The room was clean, the owner is friendly.
