“Reasonable option for a night in Imari to visit pottery area”
Room was small but that is often the case in Japan. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good with a varied selection. Handy accommodation to visit the local pottery villages.

“Great location for exploring this famous pottery region, helpful friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast.”
The staff could not have been more helpful. I had a medical issue and a lady at reception arranged help for me. The hotel is only about an 8 minute walk from Imari Station where the Fukuoka Showa Bus also arrives and departs. There is a lovely Izakaya (pub) right next to the hotel car park and an Aeon supermarket nearby. The best thing is their buffet breakfast. A large choice of freshly prepared food with menu specials that change daily. There is a coffee and soft drink bar in the lobby. You can catch a train on the Matsuura Railway line from Imari to Arita but there is only one per hour. It is only a 15 minute bus ride to the pottery village of Okawachiyama but use the timetable outside Imari Station to plan your trip. Only ¥200 each way.
