The property is an old traditional ryokan with lots of charm. The owners were very friendly and it was located right next to the port which was good for catching a morning ferry.

“Would stay again!”
I really liked the traditional ryokan stay, with tatami mats and futons. The owner is very friendly and provided us with directions to a nearby restaurant and other recommendations. It's really near the castle, which was nice to see and a quick walk to the station if you're here on Shimanami Kaido-related business ;)! Overall it had everything we needed.

“Very nice stay in Ryokan near Imabari castle”
It's a family-run Ryokan, that's what you will get. Nice room with comfy futons, free green tea, shared-bathroom with bathtub filled with hot water - perfect. Very nice and helpful people.

Quiet, well priced, traditional, comfortable. Close to a shopping street and to Imabari castle, 4 minute walk from a konbini, 10-15 minute walk from Imabari station. Nice, reasonable, simple stay in Imabari. Very comfy beds!

The owners were very helpful despite the circumstances (see negative comment below). The futons were oh so comfortable and they provided cold water in the check-in area.
