The modern Hotel Icefiord is located 200 km north of the Arctic Circle in western Greenland, 1 km from Ilulissat town centre. It offers a hotel bar and rooms with a flat-screen TV. The hotel was excellent! The room was spacious and stunning, offering a direct view of Disko Bay and an endless panorama of icebergs. The hotel’s restaurant was outstanding, and the service was friendly, professional, and always available. An exceptional experience. I highly recommend it.

“Amazing place”
Room was clean, spacious, smart furnitured. Beds verycomfortable. Amazing view from balcony and also fro hotel restaurant and from terrace. Super friendly staff. Very good breakfast, you can also get lunch and dinner in a hotel restaurant. Prices are higher for high level cuisine. If you plan visit Ilulissat for few day and is not above your budget, then Hotel Icefjord is the best place.

In my opinion the best deal in Ilulissat. Iceberg and whale watching from the hotel terrace (or even your hotel room!) under the midnight sun is what luxury looks like! And the same keeps repeating every morning during delicious breakfast.

“Nice way to stay in a wonderful town”
You can see whales swimming close by while having drinks at the bar. Great food, the breakfast is awesome. The dinner selection is limited as anywhere else in a town in Greenland, but the food is very tasty and you can feel that it was made from local high quality ingredients. Friendly young staff, helpful and informative.

“A unique place from another world”
This place is a paradise on earth. Great for relaxation, walks, iceberg and whale watching. There is a superb panoramic terrace, which is accessible 24 hours a day and you can feel the incredible atmosphere of the summer white nights, suitable for eating, drinking drinks or just contemplating the icebergs and the fjord. The breakfast is superb and authentic and includes great offers. The transfers to and from the airport are hassle-free. The restaurant is superb, although with a very limited menu and offers local specialties, which we had not tried anywhere else. The team is uniquely kind and helpful! We are charmed!
