“Fantastic Location - Nice big house!”
Location of Omaroo is fantastic! We would definitely stay again! Overall a fantastic stay but definitely a few quirks with this house! Walking distance to Pub, Main Street, kids playground and bowls club for Chinese. IGA is also walkable depending how much you need to buy. Enough parking and we managed to get the boat into the parking without too much issues. It was a little tight thought. 5m boat, bigger might be harder depending on turing circle. Well equipped with everything however the frypans are too big for the hotplate which means they don't get hot and have warped. Multiple smaller pans would be a better option in my opinion. Fridge upstairs and downstairs was very handy for the volume of people! Plenty of glasses, cutlery and plates. FYI - the table and chairs for dining is only for 6 people. Kinda silly given that it caters for so many people. We were a family of 9 so had to seat 3 up at the kitchen bench. There's a big sign saying not to move furniture as to not scratch the floor also so didn't brings downstairs table and furniture up. Also only a small supply of toliet paper, dish tablets etc so be sure to bring your own or buy from IGA. No internet, you could bring you own Apple TV and use a hotspot for Netflix etc. Iluka doesn't have Vodaphone internet only Telstra and Optus. Loved the house, nice and big and kitchen well equipped with spatulas, peelers, mashers, etc. Knives were super blunt but a few Sharp ones now as my dad sharpened some for Christmas lunch. We will definitely stay again with our family pending the price is right.

Perfect location right on the bay. Great for families as it has 2 seperate living areas with a kitchenette downstairs aswell.
