In the middle of the green and with 36 comfortable non-smoking rooms, REGIOHOTEL Naturresort Ilsenburg awaits you with a wonderful view of the Harz National Park. There are numerous hiking trails in the area. The REGIOHOTEL Naturresort Ilsenburg offers spacious, brightly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi and panoramic views. You will find relaxation in our wellness area with sauna and sanarium. Make an appointment in advance. We charge a small fee for sauna usage and towels. You can start your day strengthened with a varied breakfast. The first meal of the day is already included in the room price. Hike the Heinrich-Heine-Path, admire the Brocken or go on mountain bike tours. The historic town of Wernigerode and the city of Goslar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are also worth a visit. In our restaurant you will be spoiled with delicious Harz specialties, seasonal specialties and Mediterranean dishes.

“Nice hotel on the edge of the Harz mountains.”
The hotel is easy to find on the edge of the Harz Mountains and has ample free car parking. The staff are friendly and speak good English. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and quiet. Both dinner and breakfast are buffet style and there is plenty of choice.

“An idyllic base for walking and visiting the Hartz mountains, with good food at a reasonable price”
The breakfast and evening buffets were extremely good and varied. In the evenings the hot dishes were varied every day as were the deserts. The subdued extremely low lighting during the night was really nice as well as the absence of carpets in the bedroom. The situation is quiet, really idyllic and isolated with a vista over the valley, in large well kept grounds (e.g., topiary on some of the trees) and good parking space. Hot water being immediately available on turning on the shower was nice. It is an ideal place from which to organize walking/hiking and visits to places of interest, e.g. wellness centers/spas in the North Hartz mountains.

although our stay was short, we were welcomed warmly and were surprised at the quality of our experience. We would have loved to stay longer, and will keep this hotel as a good place to return to. Very worth the visit.

“Nice old hotel in the forest”
A nice old hotel in the middle of the forest on a hill. Great location. Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast. Close to the hiking trails and beautiful small towns definitely worth visiting.
