Our stay in Ilok was truly magical! Nestled right by the Danube and moments from the castle, this booking offered an enchanting escape.

Spacious room and character of the hotel, the bed was excellent. It felt good from check-in to chech- out.

Divan pansion, pogled na krasno dvoriste. Mirno i tiho. Na samo 10 min laganog hoda do zidina. Fantasticno udobni kreveti. Simpaticno, usluzno i nenametljivo osoblje.

“Calm stay at the easternmost Croatian town”

Very friendly staff, easy to communicate with by phone. Good location, in the center of town. Room was large. For my early checkout they prepared a basic breakfast to go, which was given in the evening, which was nice.

Really nice place. The room was big and nicely decorated. We really liked the inner courtyard, which like the whole village is focused on wine thema. The breakfast was great and so was the dinner we had here.

Hotel is nicely set up around a court yard. We had a very spacious four person room with comfortable beds and appreciated the AC as it was very warm. Enjoyed a good dinner and breakfast in the restaurant.

Great location and price

The restaurant is excellent, we had a great dinner, the portions were large and tasty. The inner courtyard looks very pleasant, there are a lot of flowers. We traveled by bicycle, and the facility provides bike rack. Ilok is a very nice town, and this villa is perfect choice to stay when traveling by bicycle.

We got an additional service that's not advertised - transportation from and to nearest train station, that's 50km away. Quite important with virtually non-existent public transport. And yet another thing that isn't advertised - everything is decorated with beautiful art pieces made by a local painter, Ante Bakter. And they are for sale! The above two really stand out compared to local competition. But sure, plenty of good food, nice staff, and even music.

The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we entered the main door. They gave us tips on places to see, where to exchange money, buy kulen, which vineyards to visit. The room itself was fine, though the shower could have been a little larger. The breakfast, brought to the table, was generous, though a little short on vegetable matter. However, this was more than compensated for by the establishment's own home-made jam, which was being made in the courtyard as we arrived and was still being produced on the day before we left. The heady aroma of slow-cooking plums thus greeted us on our way to and from our room. We had supper at the Rooms twice, and on each occasion were satisfied... though the omnipresent mashed potato could have been varied a little more. The draught wine from a local maker was the best table plonk I've enjoyed for some time and an excellent accompaniment to the meals.

We were satisfied with the place, we asked and got a room with separate beds, the wifi and the air conditioning were excellent. We drank good wine in the restaurant, and we enjoyed the breakfast.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful both in terms of giving us time and information and generous touches such as complimentary sweet and savoury local pastries. We appreciated being in a friendly family run guesthouse. It was much nicer than an anonymous big hotel.
