Fabulous welcoming host. Nothing was too much trouble.. Wonderful breakfast..Location is quiet and peaceful. The room was comfy and cosy.. Location is a bit out of the way (one of the great things about it), so try to arrive when it is light.

Everything was as we hoped for and more. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the beds really comfortable. The view and the surrounding nature was gorgeous. The food was amazing. We loved the doggies and cats, such cuties! The whole place radiates a lovely, cozy vibe. Very friendly staff, Valentina is a sweetheart! Thank you all for these beautiful few days, we will be back.

It is located in a beautiful spot next to a little brook . And the steak with potatoes was so wonderful.

The hosts are extremely kind. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Everyone is pleasant. The nature around us is unreal. There are plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling. Trieste is nearby, and so is Opatija. Truly, a perfect score for both the family and the accommodation. Thank you for being here.

This is located in a very quiet area. Breakfast is superb! And dinner was always spectacular 🤗 Satisfied with their service. Valentina is a hardworking lady, who was always willing to be helpful in any way.

Good staff who is diligent and wise enough to handle many guests in kind manners. Rural, but clean and well-kept accommodation with good restaurant in forest.

Excellent location in the countryside near Illirska Bistrica, along the river. Very good restaurant with excellent local meats and large portions. Good choices for breakfast. Comfortable room.

“Friendly owners and lovely food”

Valentina and all the family were very friendly and helpful. Valentina arranged for us to go on a bear observation trip with a friend of her father, which was a very special experience. The food was delicious - the evening meal portions were huge though! Breakfasts were slightly different each day, with a range of fruit, breads, pastries, cheese and their own cured meats.

Very nice People, never ever be that welcomed in an Hotel. Very calm and the breakfast is simply unbelievable and huge (even for Germans :)) Kids are welcome and can play around see all the animals without problems (even the neighbors are really nice).
