Excellent Stay at Vila das Velas – Highly Recommended! I had a wonderful experience at Vila das Velas. The location is unbeatable—situated right on the water’s edge with stunning views, yet conveniently close to the ferry for easy access to the mainland. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and featured an excellent shower. Outside, the facilities are top-notch, including a large swimming pool and two heated shallow pools right by the sea. The breakfast was a highlight: served in a charming rustic lounge, it included a delicious variety of freshly squeezed juices, coffee, cakes, breads, cold cuts, and perfectly prepared tropical fruits. A perfect coastal retreat!

All staff were really friendly. Bruno was particularly helpful 😁 The room was fantastic. Good aircon, great size, and best shower of the trip. Wide choice at breakfast, and the breakfast staff were really nice and made a great omelette!

“wonderful vacation spot”
the breakfast service was amazing , fresh breads , fresh fruites , hot coffee , fresh squeezed juice , plenty of choices for all types of appetites and the dining area was nice and clean. It was nice to see they had bicycles you could sign out for the day .
