“Pretty accommodation with easy access to the beach”

Lovely view to the sea, with a pretty pool area. The rooms were large and spacious and the location was good as you're only a short walk to the beach. Although not many restaurants etc in the area there is a small convenience store nearby which doesn't come up on Google. It's open 24 hours and was a lifesaver for getting snacks and drinks etc. Despite being backed onto the jungle/forest, we never found a single bug or critter in our room which was a pleasant surprise.

The pousada is an older one, on the low part of a hill and only a short walk to the beach. Its small swimming pool is pleasant. Breakfast was good and served in a bright room with a nice view. The property is close to the main road, so there is some traffic noise, most noticeable at night and some neighbours have noisy dogs. Our first floor room was of a good size with a balcony and pleasant view towards the sea. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The number of issues with our room was a disappointment and we provided feedback at checkout. Our bedroom and bathroom had very dim lighting and additionally there were no bedside lamps, one side of the double bed was without a bedside table, furniture was stained or damaged, a coffee table on the balcony had no top (just a set of legs) so it was useless, the bedcover was old with holes in it, the curtains did not block the daylight, the fridge was old and very noisy, the so-called smart TV was too old to support Netflix and Amazon apps, the bathroom sink had no hot water, the shower was weak (the shower head had not been cleaned in a long time) with only lukewarm water.

Lovely place to stay. Great views of the coast and feel like in the forest yet on a few minutes walk to the beach. Very private and secluded yet only 10 minutes drive to town centre.

Excellent breakfast. They even cooked the eggs especially for me the way I like it. Very polite personal. Beautiful view to the sea. Very big room. Beautiful swimming pool.
