A great stay! The location is perfect, very close to where the ferry drops you off. The hotel itself is very comfortable with a nice kitchen, pool and places to relax and hang out. The rooms are clean, well-equipped and have a nice private terrace for the guest to enjoy. The host is helpful with everything and so sweet. She is very easy to communicate with. When we left, we felt that we should have stayed for a longer time. Ilhabela is a fantastic place, and Maruja is the perfect place to stay when you are on this island.

the room was great, hot shower, location was very close to the ferry, Silvia was a great host, the kitchen was very well equipped so we could do our breakfast there and even cooked dinner one evening when we wanted a quiet night in.

“Not working lock on the door but the owner’s son saved the trip!”
We chose Maruja because it was the cheapest option at the time and I guess that for this price this is what you get. The swimming pool is nice, so is the kitchen and eating area, the location is very convenient, close to the ferry, close to the town and attractions. I must say that the owner's son made up for all that with his helpfulness, local advice and kindness, so overall the experience was fine.
