“Amazing place”

An absolute magical place to stay on the island. Right in the centre of the historical part with museum and sights nearby. The rooms are very luxurious. Lots of character and little details. Super clean. Strong air con. Tasty breakfast. The best part was the kind caretakers who really look after you like family.

“Perfect little guesthouse”

My room was large with an ample bed and bathroom, big windows for light and air. Super "centrally" located- near the north end of the island where all the main things are. Breakfast was great. Staff were lovely.

Excellent well positioned honest little guest house.staff were very welcoming but as my Portuguese is poor we communicated via google translate.good restaurant and shop opposite.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to stay at Casa Fabula because, upon our arrival, the property was closed and no one was there to receive us. I called the owner, but she had completely forgotten about our reservation, which had been made a month in advance. Although she was very kind, we were forced to look for alternative accommodation at 7 p.m.

Lovely hosts. Spacious room with beautiful bed equipped with mosquito netting. Good breakfast. Central location.

Lovely breakfast each morning. Staff shared their lunch one day. Beautiful building in perhaps the best part of the island.

Mr Eusebio is very very nice and helpful! Location is great, breakfast was very good, and the property itself is so atmospheric - old wood and beautyful plants. Room was very nice but some small things need improvement (like a broken tap) and it will be 10/10 🙂 Special thanks for Mr Eusebio and (I think) his wife - amazing people 🙂

“Very pleasant small hotel in real center of town”

Small hotel with just three rooms with furniture which is minimalist, but beautiful and fitting to the place. I had a large room facing a small, quiet patio with a banana tree, with access from the patio to the roof. Very centrally located close to the pier, museum, and church. The neighboring restaurant is one of the best on the Ilha. Breakfast was OK. I enjoyed my stay very much. Highly recommended.

We got a bigger room than we had booked because they were doing maintenance in the other one which was quite nice. The decoration is good and the room was spacious. It was very good value for money. Breakfast includes coffee, bread, eggs and a fruit.
