“Happy I found this place to stay for 8 nights, perfect!”

Like staying with friends. Very hospitable and friendly owners. Omotenashi in a typical Japanese guesthouse. Every morning a different Japanese cooked breakfast. Parking facility, washing machine and a supermarket and restaurants nearby. On Wednesday the local community is invited for breakfast and lunch (table d’hôte), a nice opportunity for staying guests to connect with people from Ikoma City.

really lovely and clean japanese style rooms. the host was so so lovely and made us a delicious breakfast each day which gave us the opportunity to try japanese foods that we hadn’t tried before. he was also really considerate of our dietary requirements (being vegetarian) and went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and happy.

Great location, just a short walk to the train station. Host was really nice. Was caring and helped out when my friend lost her purse, bringing her to the police station and managed to retrieve it back. He'd prepare simple and delicious breakfasts every morning for us (unless we notify him we didn't need it). Great attitude. The house itself is pretty, has that traditional Japanese design but still carries modern appliances of course. We went during the colder season so the seat warmers for the toilets and options for warm water on tap are great 😁. Overall amazing stay. Would definitely want to come back again.

The ambiance of the homestay is very good, clean and comfortable. The owner of the homestay is a kind and loving couple. The hostess's eyes are bright, very energetic and caring, and the breakfast is very delicious. My son and I spent two comfortable days here, as friendly as at home. Thank you!

“A lovely stay in a traditional home”

The house is a jewel near the station (but up a steep hill!), a traditional house with a lovely garden. The owner is very kind and friendly, and cooks breakfast himself alternating western breakfast and Japanese breakfast every day. We stayed in the Japanese style room and it was very comfortable! You can also use the fridge in the kitchen to story your food and drinks.

I am satisfied with all. Will stay in this hotel again when next trip to Osala or Nara start. Nice people you met, even airport delivery by the owner at a proper price being available.

I didn't expect it to be so but it was the BEST place I stayed during my 3 month trip to Japan. The owner is super friendly and helpful, same goes for the family members, I felt very welcome there, like a distant relative on vacation;) The breakfasts were delicious. The house itself is really beautiful, clean, and very close to the train station. It's very easy to get to all the Nara sightseeing spots. I cannot recommend this amazing place enough. If you hesitate - don't, you have found the best place to stay at around Nara:)

“A Short but Lovely Experience”

The Yoshi and his daughter were very enthusiastic and welcoming. During breakfast we would often have a quick chat that was nice. The layout of the breakfast/dinner area facilitates everyone to interact during breakfast. Also, on my Wednesday morning, other residents from Ikoma came to join which got me talking to some other locals.

This place is just amazing. Most friendly and helpful host. The house is traditional Japanese style and gives a very homely feeling. It’s walking distance from the station and very calm place. Definitely recommend.

Amazing experience It is our first trip to Japan and our hosts were so kind and hospitable that we felt truly welcome. We received a lot of valuable information and suggestions. We made fresh eggs PASTA (busiate, maccheroncini, farfalle orecchiette ecc) together and spent a very pleasant time whith them and their feiends. A great stay near Ikoma station, it has a beautiful garden, and the owner helped with a great breakfast.

The house is very beautifully located near the station, with a view over the city. I could easily travel to Nara and Osaka from there. The hosts are very kind and made me a delicious and varied breakfast each morning which made me feel very welcome. Overall had a great stay and would recommend!

“Feels like home.”

I loved it there, it felt like home. Both of them were very nice, I don’t know a lot of Japanese but we still managed to talk on Japanese and English and they were so lovely! We found some same interests that we all liked so it was even easier to talk. Really really nice owners. You can also meet a lot of other people there from all around the world and I personally didn’t mind waiting for the bathroom. Breakfast was very delicious and always different! I really can’t say anything bad maybe my best stay in Japan until now and will try to come back again and see how my new friends are doing. You can rent towels or a toothbrush or bring your own. I felt like home and wish i stayed longer. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I loved the spaciousness of the property, the kindness of the owners and the delicious homemade breakfast every morning. There are various community events held each week and many opportunities to meet interesting people from the Ikoma area. The short distance to the station is also a plus!
