The massage chair was an excellent addition to the property and our room was comfortable with a nice deep bath for post ski soaking. The boot room was great for drying out gear and the morning shuttle up to the lifts was a great bonus.

Warm and welcoming staff, super accomodating for all our needs. Perfect location not a far walk at all from the slopes, but the host drops you there anyway in the morning which was convenient.

Great service from Peter and all the staff. Breakfast was good each morning and a free shuttle to the slopes was much appreciated.

The owner was great help, getting discount tickets dropping us to mountain every day even offering to leave before mountain opens which was great to get first lifts! and dropping us to bus station on our departure. Breakfast was good value. Somehow never had to wait for a shower or toilet even though there was a fair few other guests there. Partner and I really enjoyed the hospitality

Morning Breakfast was a great selection and changed up slightly each morning which was awesome. The bed was super comfy and cozy, alot bigger than many other places we stayed and staff was really friendly and helpful!

“Great location, great staff and great vibe”

This place is in a great spot only a short walk away from the ski resort. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to help us with local information. This place also offers a free shuttle to the resort for guests. The daily breakfast was amazing and in a really comfortable setting. We appreciated the snowboard/ski movies being played every morning at breakfast. Also cheap draft beer on tap to relax on the couch with for apres. Would definitely recommend this to our friends.

Great location, short walk to skifield and shops/restaturants. Staff were really friendly and helpful, place was very clean and cosy with a snug room and massage chair Breakfast was great.

Ringo Jam is a small, boutique hotel with comfortable beds, spacious rooms and very well maintained facilities. Pete is a generous host, driving us the 5 mins to the ski lift, organising our passes and also taking us out of town to the best Onsen and local restaurant. The place is warm and also has its own mini onsen downstairs.

Free shuttle to the mountain. Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Very cozy place. Highly recommend it.

A great lodge for my purposes; a snowboarding trip. The room was exactly as required. Pete and the staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable, making my trip to Madarao even more memorable.

Loved staying here! We stayed for 4 nights for snowboarding at Madarao and Nizawa onsen and it was great. The staff are all super lovely and helpful. The rooms are nice and cozy with comfy beds. The breakfast in the mornings was absolutely sensational. They offer to drop you off and pick you up from Madarao ski field just up the road. Lots of great places to eat a short walk away or you can order food in the downstairs dinning area. The drying room was nice and tidy and all our stuff was nice and dry the very next day.

Staff was very kind, the place is lovely, breakfast very good.

The place was warm and clean with 2 nice hanging out areas, the staff (international ) were super friendly and helpful, the location a few minutes walk from the slopes. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of cereals, bread, fruit and yoghurt and fried eggs to order. Certainly enough to keep us going for several hours!
