The main resort carpark is across the road therefore the lodge is easy walking distance to the lifts. The hosts are magnificent and the food is great. Incredibly clean. Ski hire , lift tickets - black cat - they seem to help organise everything

location is good. close to bus stop and just 3 min. to the ski resort. house and hosts are warmful. Breadfast and dinner are delicious. Everyday different meal. Perfect option for staying.

What a wonderful place to stay! The owners are so welcoming and helpful, and communication was excellent at every stage. Delicious and varied breakfasts (we wished we'd been more organised and organised dinners too as they looked and smelled amazing - will have to save it for next time!). Ideally situated a few minutes walk from the ski resort, and commanding an amazing view over the valley and neighbouring hills. The rooms were a great size, beds were very comfy and the amenities were super clean. It was lovely to relax in the lounge room of an evening and enjoy the cozy vibes. Every space is beautifully presented. Couldn't recommend Blueberry Pension more!

We had a great stay here, a short walk from the bus and to the skifield. Breakfast was great and was different everyday. They offered cheap rentals which was perfect for a beginner like me, had no issues switching to a smaller pair of boots after the first day. Lovely couple running the place, we would definitely stay again.

This is a nice little cosy accommodation at Madarao Kogen. The breakfast and dinner are amazing , generous portion sized , well balanced and nutrious. The owner is very very helpful and response very quickly to all my messages making communication very easy . We hired ski gears and helmets from here and the price is much better than the rental shop at Madarao Kogen resort . The only con is the bed and pillows are a bit hard . But I’ll still give 10/10 as the con is negligible.

Clean and comfortable, breakfast and dinner were fantastic, I recommend booking dinner here as it was difficult getting into other restaurants. Cute homely feeling, hosts were lovely. Great location with beautiful views

“Convenient location in a cosy lodge with good meal options”

We stayed in a family room with private bath. The room was cosy and clean with 2 single beds on ground level and 2 up a steep ladder on the floor above. The hosts seemed really nice however provided no information about the lodge. We were just given the key and pointed to our room. The communal lounge had a great outlook and the 1 dinner we had there was excellent and good value.

We loved our stay at Blueberry Pension! The location is great, not far from the lifts and close to lots of restaurants. The staff couldn’t be any more helpful and the accommodation is warm and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling, as too was the dinner we enjoyed at Blueberry during our stay. We can’t wait to return.

We really liked everything!!! All the staff were so very much attentive and friendly. The hospitality was warm, welcoming and ver friendly. The facilities were all great.

Blueberry is the cutest, comfiest place to stay! We loved the breakfasts each morning, and the hotel is extremely clean. Only a short walk to the ski resort, which made it easy with kids. Would love to stay here again.
