Situated in the town of Ii, this guest house is 30 minutes’ drive from central Oulu. It offers free use of a sauna, BBQ facilities, as well as free private parking and rooms with a flat-screen TV. Each room at Gasthaus Ii includes wooden floors, an arm chair and private bathroom with shower. Guests can enjoy a beauty salon on site, as well as a garden. The closest restaurant is just 400 metres away. Area activities include swimming in the Ii-joki River and cross-country skiing, both within 50 metres of the property. “Gasthouse has stopped working and nobody informed us!!”
We did not like this place at all as we could not even stay a night there. The place was empty, not working - nobody there - phone number is not working!! :( :( :(

“Perfect for a short stay”
It's quite a unique place, not one of those typical hotels or guest houses. It took time to find the reception, but it was part of the experience. Our room was clean and comfortable, towels and bed linen were included in the price (which is not always the case in Nordic countries). It was really nice to have a kettle in the room. Warning: the windows do not open, on a hot day it might be a problem. I recommend the place, it's perfect for a short stay.

“Charming old fashioned guest house”
Nicely located (near the river IIjoki, Vanha Hamina) guest house with a rustic charm and a very friendly owner. The room was nicely furnished, clean, the bathroom was fine. Breakfast (basic, but tasty) was included in the price. There is a possibility to use the sauna (you can book time when it's supposed to be ready for you)

We came late in the evening and got to go to Sauna after a long drive. Lovely. And then tuck in to clean bed. Clean and neat old fashioned room in old finnish log house near river Ii. Not luxerious it's a Gasthaus☀️ but all worth it. Nice host👍

We used this accommodation, when we traveled more to the north. For this purpose is this place absolutely suitable.
