Maria was the kindest and warmest host we have ever met. The apartments are cozy, the swimming pool is amazing, and the rooms are very clean. Although we did not have the best weather during our stay, the friendly atmosphere more than made up for it.

“The perfect getaway! We can’t wait to return!”
A real gem in an unspoilt, quiet part of the island. An oasis of calm and tranquility with warm and friendly hosts, Maria and her husband who are full of local knowledge helping to make your stay a memorable one. We had a two bedroom apartment, modern, stylish and functional. Attention to detail like high quality mattresses and pillows. Immaculately presented and cleaned everyday. With the choice of the pool, the quiet beach and four good tavernas and a beach bar/cafe within a five minute walk it really was a little paradise.

Perfectly located for exploring East Crete, this stylish and spacious apartment sits steps away from four excellent restaurants. The beautiful pool and relaxed atmosphere make it ideal for unwinding, while Maria and her husband offer outstanding hospitality that truly enhances the stay. We had an incredible experience Okeanis! The hosts were amazingly caring, making us feel so welcome and providing us with great suggestions for our vacation. We loved the beautifully designed interiors of this small gem, which offered all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was perfect for relaxing and exploring, with taverns, a bakery, a small supermarket, and a beach bar all just a short stroll away. We also enjoyed hikes and visiting different beaches in the area around the resort. Highly recommend!

“Feeling Right at home in the south of Crete”
We had a fantastic 5 night stay at Okeanjs. The host Maria is so lovely and we felt right at home. The apartment is very spacious (we had the two bedroom Apartment), the terrace is wonderful and Maria made sure we had everything for our baby (baby cot and high chair, even some swimming pool toys). Location is perfect, there is a private beach just opposite, some tavernas, a supermarket and cafes all in walking distance. We will return!

“A place full of love”
Everything was just perfect! It was super clean, modern, well maintained and beautiful. The location is also ideal, since it is next to the sea with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Maria and her husband were lovely hosts and super helpful and accommodating. They made me feel like home so I absolutely recommend this beautiful place! :)

Very calm and pretty property with warm hosts and great Greek hospitality. The port area in Makrygialos is very picturesque and has some great tavernas lining the water.
