“An Excellent Property”

Apple Home is a very spacious, comfortable and well presented house. It has everything you need and has a light and modern interior. Everything is on one level which is above the garage area. We used Ierapetra as a base to explore the eastern side of Crete. It is only a 15 minute drive to the north coast. There are good beaches to both the west and east of Ierapetra. Ierapetra itself is nothing special but we enjoyed walking along the vibrant waterfront in the evenings. As all the previous reviews say the owner (Penelope) was excellent. She explained everything about the house and gave us a lot of information on what to do, where to eat etc. She gave us the choice of either accessing the house ourselves by using the key box or meeting her at the house. We opted to use the key box, as it is always difficult to time one's arrival, and then met her a couple of hours later. I highly recommend Apple Home. Thanks very much Penelope for your hospitality.

I was in Ierapetra to attend a wedding. So my stay was one night. Nevertheless, it will be unforgettable! The house is surrounded by trees so it has a privacy rare for a city house. From the windows of the living room I saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen so far. When I returned home at night, the air conditioning in each room offered me a warm and restful sleep. As for cleanliness... everything sparkles! A pleasant surprise awaited me in the morning! Penelope, who is the owner of the accommodation, had sent a small basket for breakfast, with cakes, cookies and kaltsounia (local sweet), all made by her! Penelope, thank you very much for everything.. For your Cretan hospitality and for my stay which was like home! I will definitely come back on my summer vacation. Can't wait for it! You are wonderful, both you and your house!

Me and my husband are a couple who like to travel a lot. So this year we decided to explore all of Crete. Our stay in Ierapetra was unfortunately only two days. And I say "unfortunately" because we had never before visited the particular accommodation that stole our hearts from the first moment. We thought our reservation was for a townhouse. But when we got to it, it felt like we were in the countryside! There are olive trees all around and from the terraces we enjoyed the wonderful sunsets in the Cretan sea! The house is absolutely spotless!! Everything is new and sparkling clean!! Especially the beds... The sleeping mattress was the best we could have had. The sheets, the towels, the pillowcases... everything was spotlessly clean and smelled of lavender!! As for the shower, I had a great steam bath!!! The walk-in shower is great for those who love steam baths, like me! In the kitchen there was everything a housewife could dream of.. The cutlery was Solingen, the china plates and crystal glasses!! Also, parking the car in the driveway of the house was another convenience for us. I could say a lot more but before I close my review I want to mention the owner of the house, Penelope. Penelope is the best trump in the house!! From the first moment we felt comfortable with her, she was friendly and willing to tell us places to visit. He stayed with us for quite some time and told us all the beautiful places that we can see, not only in Ierapetra but in all of Crete. Her love for Crete was obvious and so great that during our conversation, she made us love places we had never seen before! Thank you very much Penelope, and as we promised you next year in the summer we will meet again!
