Property is located at the start of the walk to the Agadir (granary) immediately above. This is well worth doing.

“Vacation feeling at its best”

This was a truly special experience. We slept here for only two nights and it felt like a long long holiday. We arrived late afternoon and were greeted with a tea. We met Aisha, Hassan and their children. It was all too wholesome. We appreciated Aishas meals and Hassan showed us the area and guided us around. We felt very like at home. The water is warm, the house perfect clean. Waking up to the sounds of the birds, Hassans donkey and the roosters was so nice. If you are looking for a special place with warm people with big hearts this is a great place. In general, Amtoudi is wonderful, we loved everything about it and we hope to come back soon. Thank you for everything Aisha and Hassan.😊

Very nice couple. Delicious tajin and very good pancakes for breakfast. We can recomnend for one day break and trip to gorge and agadirs.

“Extraordinary place, well worth visiting, and a friendly host family”

The location is stunning. The family who run the accommodation were warm and friendly. The home-cooked tagines and cous cous were generous, Hassan took us on a whole day guided tour, with picnic, which was extraordinary. Some reviews have complained about the cost of the food - it seemed a fair price to us but if worried ask before you arrived because we didn’t see anywhere else to eat.

Lovely people, food and comfy bed

Location was amazing if you are looking for an adventure. There is a lot to see with optional walks, light hikes around the place with a beautiful canyon, fortresses. The owner can prepare your meal ( which was very good) for the time that suits you. Their english wasn't great, but they were well able to communicate trough google translate.

Aisha and Hassan are really accomodating and always checked in on how I was doing! Very sweet family and was so nice to stay in a typical home in Amtoudi. Definitely recommend, the area is so beautiful and secluded.

Really good Family Host in the Berber Desert South from Marrakech. Hospitality is a rule, dinner to pay but available (Tajin/Cous Cous). Lot of trail hiking available around the village. Room with comfort, Wifi perfect for a place so far away.

It was a good location with fairly good food. The owner provides a guide service to the sites.

The host Hassan is what made this stay so special. From awaiting us at the very beginning of the village, to providing us with three amazing meals and taking us on a walk to the granary and oasis of the village, this is really the Morocco that you are looking for!

“Nice lodging with outstanding possibilities to explore the extraordinary surroundings”

The best thing about this lodging is the service and knowledge provided by Hassan, the owner, who is also he guide to the areas (and other trekking areas including sleeping wild if that's your wish). In fact that is his main occupation when not enlarging the house. Until now only a couple of guest rooms and shared toilet and shower. The terrace is still not finished. Thus the room prices are extremely low. As said the value is the service Hassan provides when walking the gorge along the oued to the source of the spring or getting up to the fortified storage Agadir Id Aissa or the second smaller one. Beautiful walks and experiences. Additionally his wife Aicha makes a very tasty tajine with home made bread. Nice daughters too.

“Unforgettable”

This is the most interesting place we stayed in during our trip to Morocco. You literally stay in a tiny village that does not see tourists normally and get to see the real way people live here which we found inaccessible in other parts of the country. Also, the village is in canyon/oasis, surrounded by beautiful rocky mountains. We abandoned our room by owner’s invitation and slept comfortably on the terrace (just like everyone in the village), and with all the animal/muezzin sounds and mountain/desert views it’s an experience impossible to forget. Home cooked couscous dinner was also great, though my favorite was breakfast- best pancakes ever!!
