Rushed to check out and allowed rude guests to stay

Bed very comfortable and hot water with a good pressure in the shower and everything very clean - I'm a hiker, it was very important to me.

Beautiful view of the mountains and rich breakfast!

A nice relaxed hostel. Room was comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking your own food. Great upper terrace with views for breakfast etc. Nice authentic town with good buss connections to great hikes.

Breakfast very good and homemade bread was amazing served on the terrace with view on the Teide and the ocean was epic.

“Unfriendly staff”

The place is nice clean and pretty decorated. Sitting up on the terrace is comfy with the stunning view on volcano BUT ! - the woman who is WORKING THERE is just discussing! Making fed up face on us with no hello, coughing nasty all the time, while laying on the kitchen sofa (the whole time!), making it unbearable to be in the kitchen. Well, we needed to make a dinner. She was making her dinner at the same time, she over fried her food - making smoked - filled the whole room and opening window too late when she finished her over cooking. THEN she sit next to us with noisy running nose and play on her phone out loud some drama movie with ambulance sirens and desperate voices right away from the start - we were eating with 3 years old. At the end of it all, when I finished cleaning dishes (while she was still eating) she mumbled ADIOS clearly at me (her first word towards me or my family) like I was making her wait or something...I'm wasting my time writing this on this beautiful island to let owners know that the only worker I met there is this woman (I saw her showing other guests their room, I know she is a staff) is the worst person I crossed my path with on this island and I needed to suffer her being while making food with my 3 years old son - he went to eat on the bed in our room. Big red flag! Also very noise place, nobody respected quiet time after 10pm, you can hear everything from the street, kitchen, like the house has no walls.. one last thing the breakfast is a joke, just bread, butter, jam, coffee, cake, that is, norhing to put on your bread.

“Worst hostel”

The pictures do not reflect the reality. The room had no window and the stone wall was covered in dust. My partner said it reminded him staying in a favela. He woke up with asthma attack. The breakfast is cornflakes and old cake/toast. There was a leftover uncooked chicken in the kitchen, attracting flies. It was the worst hostel I stayed. Pay a bit more and stay in a decent place. Recommendation to hosts: deep cleaning of walls needed. There is an inch of dust on the brick wall. Get rid of the fake plants that gather dust. Towels need replacing, they stink. Remove unnecessary dates furniture from the room. Update photos to reflect recent reality.

Great little hostel with friendly and attentive volunteer staff (thanks for drying my clothes after they got soaked cycling!) Amazing roof terrace with Teide view. Fantastic breakfast - such a bonus. Hot and powerful shower. Well organised kitchen with everything you need for cooking and storing food. Overall, seemed like a happy and sociable place.

I like the terrace with a view although it's nothing like in the picture. There was hot water in the shower which I appreciate a lot.
