The staff were friendly and the onsen was very nice with a cold bath as others with different temperatures.

“Hotel in quiet location with great onsens”

The hotel is a bit old, but the location in the nature was nice. The onsens with mountain wiew was great, with hot and cold basins and a sauna. Breakfast costs 2000 yen and it is buffet style with a lot of Japanese dishes. There is a garden with a pond. A car is a must as lunch is not provided and in the area there are few options gor a meal. We enjoyed our two nights stay there.

The hotel is a traditional Japanese place and the room was spacious and had a great view. The onsen was beautiful, the food service was very copious and the kitchen staff very friendly.

Not near the city, but incredible view and peaceful place make our feel relaxed, thank you

The room was spacious for two members and we enjoyed hot spring.

The view from the room was wonderful. The hotel is situated at beautiful and quiet place. Hotel staff are kind and helpful. The bus shuttle service between the station and the hotel is excellent.

We had no idea that this location was so remote. Originally, we did not sign up for meals because we thought that we could try restaurants in the area. There were no restaurants. However, our friend who speaks fluent Japanese and English spoke with the front desk to confirm our reservation and asked us about the meal package. Anyway, we did pay for the meals after all and all went well . But, somewhere in the description of this onset that should have been noted. A very big MISTAKE that needs to be corrected.

Excellent dinner, very comfortable beths

We came to the Sannouzan Onsen Zuisenkyo to experience a traditional japanese inn with an onsen. The staff was so friendly and even though we couldn't speak japanese they made us feel comfortable and welcome! The onsen was extremely nice, with 3 different baths outside and 3 inside. Rooms were super nice with comfortable beds and very clean. You get free water, tea and little sweets everyday, which is very nice. Overall it's perfect to relax and enjoy nature, with interesting shrines and temples just 30min away. The highlight was definitely the welcoming staff and the great service!
