“Good stay overall”
Friendly and helpful staff, a complimentary shuttle to Ichinoseki Station, snacks and drinks available at reception, and a pleasantly uncrowded onsen.

“Amazing place to stay definitely worth your money”
Basically free bar, onsen, loungewear, food (900¥ for the whole group) which we weren’t expecting! Staff were lovely and very comforting

“The Perfect Countryside Retreat”
A lovely location with serene countryside views and beautifully set out, comfortable rooms. There is so much to do around the area (with a car) and within the hotel. The indoor and outdoor onsens were perfect! The food was exceptional and exquisitely presented. The staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful.

“Slow down and enjoy life like a turtle 🐢”
Gorgeous stay, one of my favourites so far. Lovely welcoming staff, explained everything and offered information booklets in English. Nice, spacious tatami room, pristine clean and with that aromatic tatami smell. The futon was comfortable and the pillow had a husk and a soft side. The facilities were amazing. Very spacious restaurant with delicious kaiseki offer and selection of local nihonchu. The large bath outside with the snow was very relaxing and a beautiful experience. The hotel shop was very well stocked with souvenirs but also drinks and snacks (great ice cream and mochi selection by the way). A very relaxing and easy stay, perfect to slow

“Old hotel, good location”
Location was good, food was nice (mainly Asian variety) and Onsen was OK! (no towels there, bring the towel from the room) room was spacious, but weird design. We stayed in a twin room
