We had family room in Apollo building finishing our stay just after holiday season started. Location is great. You can enjoy drifting in the pool or meters away jump into the sea. I had rented car from airport and did not have issues to park it in parking lot on the coast that was perhaps 150m away from reception. Hotel is capable to hosting families with kids, couples, and singles. I think there’s quite good selection of what to do. I don’t think I have heard noise past 10 o’clock in the evening that would interfere with sleeping. Staff is welcoming and helpful whether it was reception, pool bar, canteen, or elsewhere. I think food selection was good. There were fixed part of menu you can find every day, also some variation of other meals. I liked to try out different things so there were things to choose from. Also, I consider food being good canteen grade, as during busy moments there are hundreds of people eating at the same time and it is impossible to have Michelin level grilled chicken or whatever. For sake of improvement, I’d like to see more selection of cheeses during breakfast.

“Great Beach Location but a Worn Hotel”

The hotel’s pool area and gardens were very well maintained and created a relaxing, pleasant atmosphere. The private beach was lovely, and the location is excellent for a quiet, laid-back holiday focused on enjoying the resort itself. The sea view was absolutely beautiful. Previous reviews had criticized the food, but I found it perfectly reasonable for this category of hotel, with a decent amount of variety throughout our stay. It was noticeable that many of the ingredients were fairly standard “bulk” products, and the presentation was not particularly refined or inviting, but overall the food exceeded expectations. Housekeeping was decent, service generally good, and even small practical details – such as the strong shower water pressure – added positively to the experience.

I can’t talk about the Sunshine Hotel without mentioning the entertainment team, especially Billy, whose extraordinary and unique approach truly stands out. He has a wonderful way of making everyone feel valued and special. What a genuinely amazing person!

This hotel is fantastic! I cannot recommend it highly enough. I find it puzzling that some people leave odd comments; it’s a large complex that offers great value for money and definitely deserves its 4-star rating. The staff are truly amazing, and the food is excellent, with a wide variety of options and high quality.

Amazing place for holiday .We been there without kids, but 100% one day I will come again with my kids. I love it Sunshine Rhodes and thus place stole my heart. (Only the coffee is very bad )

Beautiful beach, close to the hotel, lovely pool, and very delicious food with a wide selection for vegetarians.

“Thoroughly enjoyed our week stay and were sorry to leave.”

We were very lucky to be given a sea view ground floor room (we booked land/garden) our view was delightful. With the relax pools combined with the huge main pool there’s a place for every preference and every mood. It’s a windy area which helps keep you cool in 30+ degrees sun. Located directly on the sea was a huge bonus with windsurfing straight outside. The staff are all friendly pleasant helpful and accommodating. The animation team were entertaining. The food was plentiful with a good variety and nicely laid out, plenty of seating and time availability.

The room was a good size although very dated! That's the only good thing i can think to say about this hotel. The owners and the staff of the businesses outside the complex were really lovely. The nicest people we met were the owners of Star Car Hire, the owners of the supermarket next door, and the young bar staff in the cocktail bar across the road!!
