“A good night in Hyuga”
There were few accommodation options in this area and we were not sure if any would meet our needs. This one exceeded our expectations and we were very pleased to have booked it. Straight forward, clean, comfortable with good service. Excellent Izakaya restaurant across the street for dinner. Parking free and available immediately outside hotel.

“Not the best. Probably needs new quilts and mattresses”
It is an ageing hotel. Breakfast is good and value for money, but hardware is well worn and the quilt has a faint smell.

“View of hills in a seaside town”
Very nice and stylish small hotel! Friendly staff, good location near lots of bars and restaurants. Big window in the room which opened wide, a rarity these days but so good to get some fresh air. Nice big bath. The reception area is spacious with tables and chairs and has a microwave, so a good place to eat. There is a restaurant which looks to have great food and a hearty breakfast at a reasonable price, though I didn’t try it.
