Ingvars place is just awesome. Such a great host as well. We didn't want to leave. Show up and melt your stress away. Just you, the birds and the views. Great place.

“Perfect cabin to explore the south and see the aurora borealis”
Amazing little house. Great location, feels very private and very quiet and peaceful. The photos don't do the panoramic views from the living area enough justice. You get sunrise to sunset from the sofa if you're tired from all the exploring. The well stocked kitchen had loads of herbs and spices, cooking ingredients, coffee and lots of bits. The bed was comfy, but on the soft side. Heating was fine, shower/water pressure was great. And northern light!!! Are very easy to see from this place. The cabin faces south, so you just need to pop out onto the decking every 15mins with your wine glass and look up. (It was too cold in march to sit out all night and the lights can appear out of nowhere)

Wonderful cabin in the middle of Iceland South. It's cosy and ideal for tracking the northern light that we actually saw. Peaceful surroundings. The cabin is fully equipped, modern and ideal for a rest after a day of hiking.

Beautiful lendscape and cottage, kind owner cleared the snow off the road for us, you can find everything you need in the cottage, also some real fun stuff like soda maker and gramophone. It was a perfect stay!

“Amazing”
Everything was great, the cabin is well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, a lot of kitchen utensils) and clean, bed is comfortable. The cabin is secluded, but there is a supermarket like 5 minutes away (by car) and the directions to get there were clear.
