IS PRACTICAL. IT HAS THE BASICS. A COMFY BED, HEAT AND WARM WATER TO TAKE A HOT SHOWER AFTER A LONG DAY. NO BREAKFAST BUT THEY HAVE A MICROWAVE TO HEAT FOOD YOU CAN BUY AT THE SUPERMARKET NEARBY. SELFCHECK-IN IS VERY HANDY SO YOU DONT HAVE THE PRESSURE TO ARRIVE A CERTAIN HOUR TO CHECK IN.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was warm with good windows for ventilation, there was plenty of hanging space for our many layers of outdoor clothes and the host was communicative and very generous- we never met in person, but Tobba let us leave our bags at the guesthouse on check-out day so that we could go on a hike to the Reykjadalur steam river (we were especially grateful for this once we got up there and realised the hike would have been unmanageable with all of our gear!)

Although a bit small nothing to complain as it was enough. The bathroom is small but is enough. Common microwave can be used in the hall. Parking was easy and right in front of the hotel. It was a good stop for the roadtrip after the Golden Circle.
