Excellent location. Cottage very clean and excellent facilities, well stacked with all kitchen requirements. More clothes storage would be useful, and we couldn’t find a floor brush!

“Beautiful cottage outside of small town with fantastic facilities! Book it!”

Absolutely fantastic place. Don't hesitate booking it. Super clean, very comfortable beds and fresh bedding and towels. We stayed 4 adults + 2 kids, and there was plenty of space for everyone. One bathroom, but it wasn't a problem. In the kitchen you will find a lot of spices, tea, coffee, proper coffee machine with beans (! lovely), plus fully equipped with lots of pans, pots, plates etc, so you can do some cooking if you wish. We had bbq on 2 nights (gas fired, so easy to use and quick to cook - we've picked some nice meat and veg from local supermarket Bonus), as wanted to spend some time in the cottage, as there is also sauna and hot tub. It was great to dip into hot tub after long day exploring Iceland, and literally we spent few hours just watching the stars. Host was lovely, and quickly answered any questions we had. There is a great walk from the property to hot springs. Do not miss it if you're staying there. We walked from the cottage, so it will add about 1hr to the trek, but it was lovely to see property from above. We left 9:30 and were back by 3pm. With a good picnic and dipping into the hot springs. Fantastic views on the way. We walked two nights from property to the town for dinner, as it's close enough. We were sleeping very well, no noises. It was all perfect, and would love to go there again! Book it, you won't regret it!

The house had it all and in addition all extras in the kitchen you could wish from rental house. The house was in immaculate order. We enjoyed hot tub and large and comfy living room. We visited cottage in low season , so the price was reasonable. The host was very friendly. I loved the Kamburinn cottage and definitely would recommend to visit.

What a perfect cottage for our holiday to Iceland. Great location, ideal for day trips to the Golden Circle and the south coast. The cottage itself was so cosy, warm and welcoming - equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Loved the hot tub as well!

“A truly exceptional cottage, with fantastic attention to detail”

A truly exceptional cottage. A great location on the outskirts of Hveragerði (about 15 minutes walk to the centre), which is a great base for exploring southern Iceland. Clean and well presented. Very well equipped - all the big things as listed washer/dryer/dishwasher/TV/wifi/hot-tub/etc - but also little things like fresh flowers, a bowl of fruit, biscuits, and kitchen stocked with basics like herbs, oil, salt, dishwasher tablets, cling film, etc (Despite appearing close to the route 1 road on the map, there was no noise from the road). The owner was friendly and responsive (we ran out of gas, and she was there within an hour to replace it).

It was a beautiful home that was incredibly well stocked with supplies - you don't need to buy any herbs, spices, bathroom supplies or anything. The hosts were very communicative, friendly and helpful.

The cottage was amazing. Beautiful location with birds nesting in the cliffs and views down the valley. The cottage itself had everything you needed at a high spec and the sauna, jacuzzi and plunge barrel were a highlight. Had a few questions and Kristine answered them immediately. Just loved every minute

Great property located in the small town of in Hveragerði. Bonus supermarket and petrol kiosk located at the entrance of the town which makes it even convenient. Fully furnished kitchen with an outdoor hot tub and sauna for your usage.
