Great location with beautiful views from the room. Excellent staff. Nice breakfast and delicious food at dinner the night we ate in the restaurant. Local village/town has some great restaurants too and the hot river hike is a must!

A lovely warm welcome by the friendly staff. The location was excellent. Food in the restaurant was cooked to perfection. Use of a heated pool and two hot tubs. A fantastic location right on the river.

The hotel is located in an amazing part of Iceland and has several bath tubs with hot water to chill in. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was also very nice. An extra thanks to Thunder or Lightning (cats of the hotel) who joined me in the mornings :)

A truly special and incredibly cozy place – easily one of the most “at home” feelings we had in Iceland. We stayed in a room with a balcony, which felt more like a small private house than a typical hotel room. It was warm, comfortable, and beautifully designed – the perfect retreat after a day outside. The sauna and hot tubs were fantastic, especially in the evening with their unique setting surrounded by Iceland’s natural geothermal landscape. Breakfast was also excellent, with everything from salmon to waffles. Overall, a memorable and relaxing stay – we would absolutely come back.

Great breakfast and we saw the northern lights. Staff were helpful and friendly! Pretty area! Cute town with food hall and great beer bar with interesting pizzas!

Location is very lovely, beautiful sights from the hot tub and the restaurant, that serves excellent meals by the way. Breakfast basic but good, staff is very kind. Sauna was comfortable, hot tubs too. Great bed, I had a comfortable night of sleep every night.
