The location was exceptional for its views of the fjiord. The house was clean and warm despite the cold wind outside. The beach was lovely to walk on and we even saw a seal. Our hosts also allowed us to pet their horse.

The lodge was absolutely wonderful, right on the shore it was so peaceful and lovely being able to look out at the sea. We were lucky enough to see the Northern lights the night we stayed and with no light pollution it was incredible. Inside it has everything you need, was cozy well equipped and comfortable. The owners really have thought of everything and communication was excellent in the run up to our stay, we were sad we only got to stay one night!

Beautiful location on the water. Very quiet. Keys were available at the cabin on check-in. Host called out and waved from a distance but didn't come down to the cottages. Plenty of room inside with a good sized lounge and sitting area.

Highly recommended. I loved everything about the Apartment. I have been to Iceland four times and this is one if my most favourite places to stay. Convenient self-check in and check out. Information was sent via inbox days prior to actual arrival. The location is fabulous if you want to visit Illugastadir seal watching. We woke up at 4.30 AM to get there and saw dozens of seals. You can enjoy the view and peaceful surroundings. Well-designed floor plan with 2 bedrooms that can fit 3 persons plus 1 on the sofa. Nice, comfortable furniture and everything was spotless. There is a guidebook that provides information about restaurants, attractions and everything you need to know. There is a stable where you can pet the horses (inform the hosts first). The host was friendly and accommodating, taking us to the stable to meet the horses. Will definitely stay there again if we go to the North.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly kind, warm, and reliable – we felt welcome from the very first moment. The house is beautifully furnished with great attention to detail and extremely well equipped. Nothing was missing – on the contrary, there was more than we ever expected. Every room had a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The fantastic location is also worth mentioning – a perfect place to relax and enjoy!

we have spent one night on our (3 persons) trip through iceland. everything was fine - best sea view, very clean, nice owners, second sleeping room for one person (ok, it is a little bit small, but ok!), great restaurant 8mins by feet. yes, in sum, great to be there! thank you.

A beautiful place right above the water, great view included. Elegantly furnished and well equipped Cabin. Totally clean, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom. Even binoculars to spot the animals! Very nice and caring owners!
