We loved our stay here! The guesthouse has everything you could need for a comfortable stay, and the view is simply beautiful. There’s a farm nearby, so we got to see sheep, horses, and even a little greenhouse — such a treat! A special thank you to the hosts: you’re such lovely people — thank youuu! 💛

Close to the lake and clean

Dirty, and rather run down. The property was oddly furnished - clearly it was previously a disabled / elderly residence, and all the supportive equipment (beds, hoists, shower etc) were just left in place. Overall the place seems not to have had a deep clean or a bit of maintenance in years. Front door doesn’t lock from the inside, curtains don’t fit the windows and so cannot block out the (all night) sunlight etc - overall just lacking any effort.

Very cute and cosy place. Clean and well equipped. Curtoins are dark enough to sleep well cause we were there during June when the day light never goes down. Beds are comfy.

Very nice accomodation, very friendly and helpful hosts, very quiet. Good location in the middle between Husavik and Myvatn.

A lot of space in the house, beautiful view to the mountains, great friendly and informative hosts, good location for exploring that part of Iceland. In the kitchen, a toaster was also available which we liked a lot! It was not written in the description, but this is part of a farm, which gives an extra feeling of being close to nature. The apartment is attached to the owners apartment, so it is very convenient to reach the owners for any questions. The hosts were very friendly, gave us very useful tips (which hike not to try because there was still snow!) and accommodated all our requests.

Clean and spacious.

It was a really nice place near Husavik (~20 minutes by car.) It exceeded my expectations! The kitchen was well equiped and the house was very good overall!

Great spacious and comfortable apartment in a rural setting. It is in the same building where the hosts live but has a separate and private entrance, so completely private. Hint: bring your own dinner supplies- the apartment has a full kitchen.
