“Dream Island Tawila”

We recently stayed at Tawila Island Resort for our 6th wedding anniversary and overall had a truly memorable experience. The island itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning turquoise water, a very peaceful atmosphere and gorgeous overwater bungalows that make the place feel unique in Egypt. The concept of the resort is really special and the scenery is honestly breathtaking. We also really enjoyed the buggy island tour, which allowed us to discover the beauty of the island from different perspectives, as well as the spa experience which was extremely relaxing and one of the highlights of our stay. A very special thank you to Ahmed Salah from Customer Service, who handled our concerns with professionalism, kindness and genuine care. After some difficulties at the beginning of our stay, he truly made efforts to improve our experience and made us feel listened to and valued as guests. We would also like to thank Ramadan at the restaurant for his kindness and attentive service during our meals. Despite a few challenges during the first day, the team showed willingness to make things right and we really appreciated the gestures and attention provided afterwards. The beauty of the island, the relaxing atmosphere, the private pool bungalow experience and the peaceful surroundings made this trip very special for us. Thank you Tawila team for helping us create beautiful memories for our anniversary.

“Pure Luxury and Peace – The Ultimate Island Escape”

The experience begins the moment you step onto the boat in El Gouna. The one-hour cruise to the island is a highlight in itself, especially since we were lucky enough to see dolphins along the way while the staff served fresh coffee. It is the perfect way to leave the world behind and transition into paradise. ​Everything about this island is designed for pure relaxation and luxury. The resort feels like the Maldives but looks brand new and incredibly stylish. The rooms are massive, top-tier in design, and truly make you feel at home. I’ve never had a faster check-in! Within 5 minutes of arriving, I was already in my room. The concierge took me by golf cart, giving a great orientation of the gym, pools, and the breathtaking facilities along the way. Wherever you go also the wifi works perfectly fine and super fast all over the resort. ​A true standout is the incredible spa, which is built directly on the water—just like in the Maldives. It offers a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and a dedicated yoga space, all with full, unobstructed sea views that are simply amazing. ​The atmosphere created by the people there is wonderful. Every single staff member—from the gardeners and lifeguards to the chefs and waiters—is so friendly and greets you with a smile whenever you pass by. I also loved exploring the island on the hotel bikes—riding during the sunset was my favorite part. It is so quiet and peaceful that the only things you hear are the waves, the birds and the decent but pleasant background music. The sandy beaches are pristine, and the food quality is exceptional. ​ A very special thank you to the Front Office Manager, Mr. Ahmad Salah. He assisted me from the first until the last minute of my stay, fulfilling every wish or question the second I finished my sentence. His heartful treatment and deep knowledge of the island added enormous value to my stay. This is hospitality par excellence! I can't wait to be back very very soon!

We spent 4 nights and 5 days in Tawila Island and it was a holiday we were truly grateful to experience once again in our lives. We stayed 2 nights in a sea bungalow and 2 nights in a beach room. Honestly, I can’t say which one was better — both were absolutely amazing. The food, flowers, drinks, the sea, the underwater life, the buildings, and most importantly the happy, smiling staff… everything was perfect. Everyone genuinely tried to help with everything, always coming with solutions and options. My girlfriend has celiac disease, and they almost rearranged the entire menu for her, which meant so much to us. That level of care and attention is something you don’t see often. Everything was spotless and incredibly well maintained. A special thank you to Reception Manager Ahmed Salah and Mohammed from the restaurant team for their amazing service. If anyone reading this goes after us, please send them our greetings. An unforgettable experience. We would love to come back.

So it comes with unique authority when I say that Tawila Island Resort is a very special place, not only within the Red Sea, but beyond. The resort accommodation and amenities, including the restaurant and spa, have been designed to a very high standard; affording guests an embracing and unfettered connection to the sea, beach and unspoilt tranquility of the Island; which, is what Tawila Island is all about. The resort staff - in particular the front of house manager Ahmad and F&B director Moutassem - ensured our stay was accentuated from the top-down with a warm, attentive, and somewhat rare commitment to personalised hospitality and service. My wife and I spend time on the Red Sea every year and now, after only one visit, consider Tawila Island a home away from home that we look forward to returning to annually.

The location and design of the hotel cannot be beat! It is so beautiful that sometimes it takes your breath away! The rooms are also very big, and very private. The staff are friendly and the management is professional and responsive.

I just wanted to leave a message (not a review) to Tawila Island: thank you for making my stay the most beautiful experience of my life. Everything is of a sober elegance, each step is accompanied by wonder, kindness, benevolence. I knew the expression "haven of peace" but I only understood its meaning on this island. I was sensitive to every little detail, to every little attention. I therefore wanted to thank from the bottom of my heart, each person of the team that I was able to meet: the team of the Abydos 3 boat, the golf cart drivers, the gardeners, the waiters of the rooftop, of the Reeds Bistro and of the Lilac restaurant (a quick hello to the chef), the lady of the Spa but special mention for 2 members of the team with whom I was able to chat a little during my stay: Mino very attentive and caring and of course Mohammed at the reception very professional, very kind and very funny too. Thank you all for your discretion, your professionalism and your smile.

My trip to Egypt was amazing, but without a doubt, Tawila was the best place I visited. The island is absolutely incredible, the scenery is breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and everything feels like paradise. The food was delicious and fresh. Also, the staff were so kind, professional, and always ready to help. Everything was simply perfect from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend Tawila enough. It truly made my trip unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back as soon as possible!

An absolute hidden gem. On par with the Maldives for me! I can’t put into words how stunning this island is. I’ve never experienced such amazing staff who couldn’t have been more attentive and friendly. It’s so well looked after, and is pure luxury. We already can’t wait to come back and see familiar faces. The location is amazing and very easy to reach from El Gouna . Since when we have arrived we had an amazing treatment from all the team members . Reception and restaurant team was very nice and welcoming , the chef was unbelievable as the food was delicious and high quality ( from the breakfast to the dinner ) as Italian I can say that the Italian menu ‘ was really Italian . The guy working at the gym was extremely nice with us giving his professional advice. Most impressing thing about the team is that the guy working at the beach land me his personal suit for diving as I was feeling a bit cold and took us to watch the reef and tropical fish . This paradise will be co forever in my heart and I’ll definitely come back ( I was twice in Maldives and didn’t get the same treatment and same delicious food ) I have actually preferred this island to the Maldives .
