Overview
The Steigenberger Resort Ras Soma is a stylish and luxurious resort offering half board accommodation as well as a generous luxury all-inclusive experience. The luxuriously appointed guests’ rooms include, Deluxe Family Rooms, Superior Rooms, Superior Grand Rooms, Executive Suites with private pools, 3 Royal Suites with private pools and large Private Villas with swimming pools with either 2 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms directly by the beach. The luxuriously designed villas offer bespoke features including Jacuzzi tubs, in-door and out-door showers, spacious living with dining areas, kitchenette and large deck areas. Each room features 55 inch flat screen TV’s, safe boxes, minibar and exclusive bath amenities. The resort features two Olympic-size pools. Steigenberger Resort Ras Soma offers a great variety of leisure activities for all ages such as beach and pool activities, tennis courts, multi-sports courts, beach volleyball, Boccia, and mini-football. The “Kids Land” club offers a large playground and indoor classes, craft rooms, a mini disco, and a Children’s cinema with themes all day long. The state-of-the-art Gym offers all the latest equipment with rowing machines, treadmills, elliptical trainers, bikes, and weight. Professional personal trainers are available. Classes on offer include Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and aqua aerobics. The hotel has 5 signature Restaurants and Bars. Guests can enjoy a lavish buffet selection in “Kahramana” the main restaurant, breakfast, lunch and dinner, Lebanese specialties in “Arabesque”, Italian Cuisine in “Cabana”, Asian & Japanese specials in “Benisuma” or fresh seafood in “Maya Beach Restaurant”. The “Safari Bar” located in the lobby is open 24 hours and offers a full range of beverages and signature cocktails & cigars. Diving and Kite Surfing Center and boat excursions are available directly in the beach. The Mivida Spa offers a variety of bespoke Spa treatments and rituals performed by professional Thai therapists and has a Sauna and Steam room as well as 2 indoor Jacuzzis. The Mivida Beauty Salon provides hair-dressing services and a variety of beauty treatments. This outstanding resort is only 30 minutes from Hurghada Airport, located in the pristine bay of Abu Soma with a private 300 meter white sandy beach, offering private beach bungalows overlooking the blue waters of the Red Sea. “A stunning, peaceful luxury escape with exceptional staff”
We stayed as a couple for one week in May 2026 at the Steigenberger Hotel in Soma Bay, in room 2214 facing north-east, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The staff were absolutely exceptional. They made us feel special from the moment we arrived, while remaining professional, warm and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Romany, Bassam, Mohammed, Medhat and all the others who helped make the week so memorable. Although the hotel is immense, it never felt crowded. There is so much space everywhere that it often felt like we had our own private luxury resort. There is plenty of animation and activity available, but the atmosphere remains calm and elegant, with many quiet areas for relaxation. The hotel itself is visually stunning. The architecture, gardens, rooms and overall setting are superbly maintained, and the beauty of the place is one of its great strengths. The gardens in particular are magnificent, and the rooms are of excellent quality. We went wing-foiling, with two schools within walking distance of the hotel. We played tennis at the Cactus tennis academy about 15 minutes by car. Overall, this was a beautiful, relaxing and very special stay. The combination of space, elegance, activities, superb surroundings and above all the kindness and professionalism of the staff made it a holiday we will remember very fondly.

“We had a wonderful time”
This is really an exceptionally nice hotel - nice and clean rooms (could be a bit bigger but fine) - excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner - for kite surfers: good school in working distance - well equipped gym + tennis & paddle court - small but friendly kids club - nice pool area (we didn’t use the beach much) Overall just a very good standard

Exceptional service. Everyone is friendly and pleasant and welcoming and accommodating. Everything you ask for is provided even if it’s not a standard offering. Very clean, safe and family friendly with an amazing animation team for children. Great food selection both in Ala Carte and the open buffet.
