I liked the view. Has a very nice rooftop, with swimming pool and panoramic view over the sea and the city. And the location was good, just a few steps to Sheraton Street, the most popular street in Hurghada, full of shops and restaurants.

Everything above expectations: The staff were friendly and always available (a special thanks to Bob, Carlos, and Fedy). The room was clean and comfortable, with dual inverter air conditioning that was very convenient for heating the room on chilly evenings. Breakfast is a strong point, varied and very good! Location in downtown Cairo very convenient for moving around Giza and the surrounding area and convenient for going out on foot and visiting the city centre and the popular places in Cairo. Very good and recommended! If we pass through Cairo again, we will return to this hotel.

“Pleasant and affordable”

The hotel manager Tadros was a highly professional and serviceminded man who was super flexible with the booking and activity management. He provided us with activities such as Cairo daytrip and diving trip. The hotel room was close to the beach and close to the sharaton street which made it easy to walk. Room had solid WiFi and 24h service.

I honestly had one of the worst experiences at Charbel Apartments. What they advertise online is completely different from what you actually get. The staff were not helpful at all, and every issue seemed to be brushed off or ignored. The bathroom was always filled with water after every shower, and you had to clean it up yourself. The TV didn’t work unless you called reception to fix it, which was really inconvenient. The living room table was broken and literally held together with nails — very unsafe and unacceptable. The only good thing about this place is its location — it’s about a 10-minute walk from the centre, which is convenient. But that’s honestly the only positive point. The pool was shallow and not enjoyable at all. Overall, this place was the worst of the worst. I’d only recommend it if you absolutely need to stay close to the centre — otherwise, save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

This was the best decision we made in our entire trip. The room was awesome with amazing panoramic view of see from all the rooms... our host was very helpful and polite and helpful in organising over day trips too...

Super clean room, comfy bed, fresh smell — everything was spotless. You can tell they take care of the place. The location is perfect. Close to the beach, city center, shops, and restaurants. I didn’t need a car for anything. Would definitely stay here again!

Decent hotel in a good location. The room was big and reasonably well equipped if a little tired, the rooftop terrace and pool is great. Good value for money.

I had a lovely apartment with a comfortable sofa, a kitchen with full amenities including a washing machine. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was very spacious it made me feel very at home. I really enjoyed my stay. I loved the rooftop you get such a beautiful view of Hurghada. Especially because there aren’t many rooftops here this makes Charbel so unique. The staff were so friendly and kind especially Tadros who gave me great advice on how to use transport in the city. He made the stay feel very comfortable as he was very positive and had great service whenever I needed something. Imee was also great in helping me carry my bags to my room. The staff are really wonderful and kind at Charbel.
