“Excellent Hurghada homestay”

My bus arrived late, but Adam stayed up until 2AM to greet me. He cooked breakfast every morning, and set me up with well priced diving and snorkelling tours that picked me up right at the front door. Adam was great to talk with and it was nice to hear about Egyptian life from a local. I had a fantastic stay, highly recommend.

My first stay in Egypt and it was a very positive one. My host Adam contacted me a few days ahead on Whatsapp and made sure my arrival would be smooth. He met me at the guesthouse and instantly offered me tea and we had a little chat. He is a really good-hearted man from my first impression and I wish I had more time to talk to him, I stayed only one night. Egypt has lots of traffic so the most important question when staying somewhere is - is it quiet? This place is, its on a quiet backstreet and there will be no noise.

I arrived in Hurghada from Luxor using the GO BUS, and it was about a 20-minute taxi ride from there to the house. Adam showed me around the market to buy ingredients for the molokheiya soup I was making for dinner. Foreign markets are very exciting. He also gave me a ride in a minibus to go to a market further away. These experiences are valuable experiences that I could never have done on my own. I asked Adam to give me a massage because he is good at it. You have to pay for the massage, but you can refuse if you don't need it. Adam doesn't ask us to do anything that is impossible. take me on a dolphin snorkeling tour. The price was reasonable, and everything. Safety was guaranteed. Adam is easily one of the best hosts I've ever had. He contacted me before I arrived to make sure I would be able to reach the Homestay, but continued to look after me throughout my entire stay. If you want to experience more of the local life in Hurghada this is the place to stay. Adam will take you to the local markets and show you around the city if you are open to it. We enjoyed dinner every night at his place, where he prepared some great, local meals. He will do everything to make your stay enjoyable, and I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to stay at the Bob Marley Homestay.

Adam is your man in Hurghada:) Being a well-respected local he can help you with pretty much anything. He's also well educated and knowledgeable, he's been living in the EU and around, so he knows what suits representatives of different European cultures and offers exactly what's needed. And it's always nice to have a discussion with him in the evening enjoying dinner. He can help you with everything. If you need something from a pharmacy (and bear in mind that Egyptian medicine is reliable and cheap) he'll get it for you and they'll charge him less than they usually charge foreigners. If you want a tour booked for you, he'll activate his network to get the best and cheapest options for you. He can also buy stuff for you at the market, show you around, and cook for you. And he's a great cook! Breakfast is included, but he can also cook lunch and dinner if needed. And he cooks local stuff, if you'd like, so you can enjoy the cuisine. I can say that his dishes are better than some of those offered by several Egyptian hotels I've stayed at. This is my second time staying with him, and I highly recommend booking his place. It's just the right place to hang out waiting for your liveaboard or your flight and an optimal combination of price and quality. Of course, one can spend a night at the hotel, but then it's necessary to look for places to eat, and if you need to buy anything the locals charge you more since you're a "wealthy foreigner".

The hospitality and kindness of Adam. He absolutely helps you with everything you need, he gives you good tips on what to do, cook nice breakfast and dinner for you and show you around the city. I really enjoyed my stay in there, it’s located in a quiet area, there’s nice beach nearby, easy to hop on the public minivan to other part of the city. The room is spacious with AC and the bed is so comfy.
