Really great value. A large comfortable clean room with private bathroom for £6. It’s very peaceful here and full on view of the Passu Cones from the garden. There is a safe space for our bicycles and in its in a great location for all the scenic highlights and cafes

Forget about fancy, domestic-popular, mediocre and overpriced overhyped Karimabad. The real gem is the Wakhi village of Gulmit Gojal, a 30 minutes drive from the local bus station nearby Aliabad. Peaceful and quiet village facing the river and the Karakoram mountain range, a short walk from Hussaini suspended bridge, and the jeep departure point to the secluded and beautiful Shimshal valley. Ideally and central located but quiet from the main road. A rarity in Gulmit considering that other places are often overpriced and mediocre quality. The welcoming and friendly Ahmed's family is the real gem here, a truly Wakhi hospitality and care for its customers, knowledgable about Balstistan and its culture, adding a value to what is already the best option by far compared to its competitors. Highly recommended.

Very funny, friendly and hospitable owner, quiet location! Reccommended!

The room was OK but not very clean even by Pakistan standards. The bathroom had no running water probably due to winter temperatures. The staff were friendly and tried to help. I left one day early it was so cold in the room The nearest restaurant is 5 minutes walk to the Marco Polo Hotel. Bus stop for Gilgit and Sost outside gate on main road.

Lovely place. Very good value for money. Good welcome. Nice room, hot water in bathroom, posibility to use kitchen for make tea, garden.. Nice stay!

Very good value, shower had hot water which was very nice. Decent wifi most of the time. As central as one could be in the tiny village of gulmit. Cosy little place with a nice view.

If you are on the way to Passu or Khunjerab it is a great option for staying. It is basic however Rooms and bathroom are clean, the owner is very kind and helpful. There is also a parking lot of you are on motobike.

It is a very good location where shops and restaurants are surrounding. The owner is friendly anc helpful. We had electricity 24hrs and clean water during our stay.
