Hunza lounge is a fantastic choice for your stay in Karimabad. We had an amazing stay at Hunza Lounge. The room was spacious and very clean. The view from the balcony as well as the rooftop are amazing. The staff was very helpful and kind, they made our stay very pleasant. But especially the owner of the hotel made our stay unforgettable. He helped us with anything we asked for and more. He had a lot of knowledge about the local community and history. Besides that it was a lot of fun to spend some time with him. We would 100% recommend this hotel

“The perfect place for Hunza!”

We had been wanting to visit Hunza for many years and finally the plan came to fruition this April 2026. I chose to book Hunza Lounge due to its location and brilliant reviews. It did not just live up to the expectations, but far exceeded. We also utilised the ‘Hunza Lounge adventures’ aspect to have a fully guided trip from start to finish airport to airport. Noushad runs a fabulous guest house with a highly caring and attentive team to provide a wonderful personal service. From the start, the communication was fast and prompt. Schedule was tight due to just 12 day trip from UK. We had to made changes to our plans due to cancelled Gilgit flight and had to fly to skardu instead and change dates too. He accommodated for it all at short notice and arranged to send the driver to skardu. Guest house views are breathtaking. Simple yet fabulous breakfast was served in the dining room with panoramic views of the Himalayas. Noushad arranged a 4 full day itinerary for us to cover Hunza well. We visited Hopper valley, saw the forts, visited ancient local villages, hosseni bridge, Borith lake and drove to China border with views of Attabad lake. His local knowledge was impeccable and he seems to know everyone in Hunza. We also had fresh lovely dinner served by Shakeel. He also arranged a roof top bon fire and bbq on our last evening. All our needs at the property were promptly addressed. Our family had the most perfect trip. I’m reasonably well travelled, and felt this to be the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Anyone thinking to visit Hunza, stop looking and just book Hunza Lounge immediately. You will not regret it all. Adequately priced for the service received. Noushad made it perfect. Look forward to returning again during the summer time for the fruits.

“Outstanding place”

Outstanding location near the Hunza Serena hotel - a good balance between being up the big Karimabad hill and near the highway. The Bazaar is 10 minutes walk away. Really helpful staff. Very comfortable room. Central location for treks and other sights. Just book it.

A really great place to stay. The views from the room are amazing and there is a small balcony with a couple of comfy chairs too. The room is spacious, light and airy. Good bathroom. Good breakfasts too. Noushad the owner and Amir who manages the hotel day to day are very helpful. I lost my small backpack off the back of my motorbike with my passport and other valuables. They assured me that it would be handed by local people. Noushad accompanied me to the police station and sure enough one of the policeman showed me a photo of my bag that had been posted on social media. The taxi driver who found my bag drove to the police station and returned it to me. A huge relief to me a and a great example of the honesty of the people of Hunza.

-- all around fantastic stay at the Hunza Lounge! -- spacious, clean, really comfortable bed; the HL even has a back-up power system -- superb Hunza valley views from the balcony -- Noushad & his team provide exceptional service and assistance to guests, from simple breakfasts/dinners, arranging trips to nearby sites and dealing with any issues -- close enough to walk to Baltit Fort or hit up the Serena's nightly buffets.

The entire stay was exceptional. The staff, food, the overall hospitality was superb.

The staff is super helpful and friendly. I would like to Mention Amir (manages the guests) what an exceptional person, he would help you out by going out of the way. Excellent service by amir and the Cook Shakeel is super humble, nice guy and great taste in his food. Both of these were amazing Its cozy and comfortable , not very modern in terms of ambiance and furniture but neat and clean and comfortable

The schedule had to change due to flight cancellations, but they were flexible with the arrangement. All the staff are very friendly and eager to listen to your requests. I will use this hotel again when I go to Hunza.
