Overview
This Muskoka Inn is situated on the shores of Peninsula Lake. Algonquin Park is 32 km away. Satellite TV and a coffee maker are provided in each unit at Tally-Ho Inn. Location and cozy . It had access to the lake for ice fishing. The last time we came it seemed like the friendliness of the staff had definitely changed.

“In my opinion, check-in should ideally be done through a reception or at least include the option to”
I received the entry code via text at 3 PM for a 4 PM check-in, which felt quite last-minute and added a bit of unnecessary stress. Relying on a text message—especially so close to check-in—can be difficult if someone doesn’t have immediate access to their phone, or if there are issues with reception or battery life. It would be much more reassuring to receive this information earlier, or to have a backup method available (like an email or a contact person to call). I understand things are becoming more automated, but when you’re arriving somewhere and unsure about access, not having human contact can feel pretty isolating.
